  Refrain from booking accommodations with this establishment. They are involved in internal fraud and scams, and they attempt to conceal these activities when law enforcement is notified. Jennifer, the front desk manager, and her employee permitted an individual to check in without presenting a valid form of identification or a credit card that was not in their name. The credit card was declined due to its non-presentation. When prompted to provide identification, they advised that the individual needed to unpack their luggage to locate one. This action directly violated their own policies and allowed individuals to check into two rooms without providing any form of identification, credit card information, or vehicle registration details. They were subsequently issued two rooms for over $1600, and they processed a credit card transaction over the phone in my name, despite my residence in Savannah, Georgia. Upon being informed of the situation, we contacted the police. When the police arrived, the guest was alerted and fled down a concealed back staircase. Conveniently, the cameras that were operational at the time malfunctioned and failed to capture the guest’s departure to their vehicle. It is highly unlikely that the police would have been alerted to their presence without the assistance of the same employee and manager. They refuse to respond to calls and emails. Their corporate office and fraud department ignore all contact including the police inquiries. It’s disgraceful. So we are forced to make reviews, contact local media outlets and social media to make sure other patrons know about the practices that this hotel engages in. Do NOT use this hotel if you do not want your personal financial information copied and sold and used in much larger scams. Disgraceful. People work hard for their money and to have hotel staff partner with scammers to book rooms, purchase food and deliveries and attempt to purchase whatever they want on the dime of another is disgusting and shows the character of the type of person(s) that these people are. Karma.

  I had an amazing stay at Staybridge Suites in Cedar Rapids, Iowa! The rooms were spotless, the amenities were great, and the atmosphere was super welcoming. But the real star of the show was Kevin at the front desk, his hospitality was unmatched! He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and treated every guest like family. You can tell he genuinely cares about people and takes pride in what he does. Kevin is the reason I’ll be booking here again on my next trip. Give that man a raise because he’s a rockstar!
