The room itself was clean and well prepared. The hotel layout is a bit confusing, but I did end up with a good parking spot and easy access to my room. The parking lot, however, wasn’t very clean—trash and debris made me a little uneasy about leaving my vehicle overnight. The elevator was also dirty, so I wasn’t expecting much, but the room was a pleasant surprise.
The attendant who checked me in looked like he had just rolled out of bed—and it was 3 p.m.—which didn’t give a great first impression.
Breakfast was not appetizing. I’m celiac (gluten free) and the options were waffles, sausage and biscuits, and eggs. The fruit didn’t look very fresh, and the eggs were overcooked, had an unpleasant smell, and tasted bad. I took one bite and I’m pretty sure the attendant saw me spit them out. The overall crowd in the hotel was diverse and very loud. Not disrespectful, just distracting. The coffee comes from a dispenser, so I skipped it; fortunately there are a couple of coffee shops nearby.
Honestly, I’m surprised this hotel has such a high rating. There were quite a few things to be desired.

Big room, plenty of room. Kinda tucked away but still extremely close to everything. Only draw back would be, needing more room when fixing your breakfast. The cafe’ is great but there just isn’t much room when fixing your food.

I had such a wonderful time here! You can really see that they’ve invested in their hotel. My room was super nice and modern—you could tell. They really pay attention to the little details that other hotels might overlook. Plus, there’s a fantastic Mexican restaurant right next door, and the food was absolutely amazing—I’d give it a perfect 10 out of 10! It’s a bit out of the usual tourist spots, but it’s also got a charming, older vibe.
