- PCPaul ColangeloApr 15, 20264.07 min from CID, and a free shuttle. Modern and clean. However, in trying to keep that feel, understand that the rooms have a certain esthetic. There are NO drawers in the room, just open shelves and hangers. Plus, all the lighting is cool-temp LED, not very warm or homey. AVID really missed here in regards to the lighting, it's very harsh. Brekky is just OK, nothing great, but it serves it's purpose.

I love that Avids have the sparkling water and fresh coffee available 24/7. I accidentally left a bottle of wine in my room (stored it inside because it's been freezing outside) and only remembered after checking out. I called them and they were great about holding it until I came back in town. 10/10 would recommend. BTW, if anyone else is also using concur to book-- this is at least a 3 star hotel, not a 2 it says on the app.
