The staff was very accommodating when I asked to be reassigned to a different room, and they handled it with professionalism and kindness. The lobby itself is absolutely amazing—beautiful, welcoming, and definitely gives a great first impression. That being said, I was disappointed to learn that there isn’t a free breakfast option. I was also surprised that while the lobby left me in awe, the room did not quite match that same “wow factor.” It wasn’t horrible by any means, but there were noticeable tears in the carpet, and the air conditioner was set at 74°, which made the room feel less comfortable at first. Overall, I appreciated the excellent staff and stunning lobby, but I wish the rooms lived up to the same standard.

I called to ask if we could check in 30 minutes early and they said no. I was actually shocked as it’s the first time I’ve ever been declined but I know it’s not a guarantee. I also requested a box fan and was told they didn’t have one. I’d suggest having those for guests to make their stay comfortable. The check in process was torture. You either need 2 staff to check people in on the weekends or a check in option on the IHG app. After driving from out west, the last thing I wanted to do with kids is stand in line for 30 or more minutes. In the room we seen an option to stream from our phone to the tv. This was on the tv main screen. When we pressed that it said we needed to reset the router. This was the first IHG hotel we’ve been at where the router was not behind the tv. It was behind a false wall panel under the tv. Could not reach it. That was disappointing and we were hooked up to WiFi thru the hotel app. Check out was available via the app so we utilized that.
