  As a gold member I'm appalled and disappointed. We walk in, the way we get greeted when we say we are checking in, saying we have a room and we are checking out in the morning. Its 4am. That's the response we got from YOUR employee. No smile, no Welcome in, I'm glad you made it safely, Let's get you checked in so you can get some rest. Gosh did you have a long drive? So sorry you made it in so late. Oh I see your a gold member, let's get you a late check out so we can make sure you get some extra rest since you are arriving so late! The amount of things I can think of to acknowledge your guest is endless. Are people not allowed to have different schedules? Are people not allowed to arrive at different hours of the night? We have a very different work schedule compared to most people. We travel every single weeked for work and stay in hotels half of the year. So we know the check in procedure, we know how to interact with an employee. Why don't you train your employees to be NICE and welcoming to a GUEST! To the guest that is the reason the hotel stays in business and the reason they come to work every day. To accommodate the GUEST! Then after NO conversation at all, him rudely asking for an ID. We politely asked for a higher floor (which we have saved in our app but sometimes it doesn't come through on the reservation). He raised his voice and bluntly said. I already SAID we were sold out. Keep in mind, he never said few words to us during the check in process, and letting us know they were sold out certainly wasn't one of them. Where do you hire these people? Is this really the service and quality you want to give to your guests? Especially as IHG GOLD members? We are appalled by the treatment. We had a long exhausting drive, we have work tomorrow, we are going to get little to no sleep. And we were treated as if we were a problem simply for CHECKING IN! Using the hotel for what it is there for? I expect some sort of compensation for being treated like this during our stay. We didn't spend almost $200 for the night to have this service. That is a part of the money you spend, to get good service as well as a room. I expect to be contacted by a manager to sort this issue out. It's absolutely unacceptable.

  The building was struck by lightning in October 2025. It blew out many TVs, cable boxes, and the fire alarm system. I visited that weekend. Never knew that upon arrival. Never knew that coming up ahead of time. Had I known I would have booked it a different hotel for safety reasons. No fire alarms in a hotel? No thanks. I book again months later. February 2026. Still without working TVs in every room. Some don't even have both TVs that you see in the images (see photo for art coverup) and expect when you book(and pay for) a room. Staff unsure which rooms are affected and which ones aren't. How can you not know 4 months later? Where is the inventory where is the quality control? Who's doing the room inspections? I had to move four rooms before I just ended up dealing with it because it still wasn't right. You might be thinking so what if your TV doesn't work Big deal. Well after coming back from a long day and you want to relax it is a big deal. So you can just stream right? Maybe. But you have to go through the hassle of logging into their Wi-Fi, logging into your provider, and hoping it cast correctly to their television. Way too much work when you just want to relax.
