Garbage in cans when I entered the room and filthy dishes in dishwasher upon arrival. If the room was really being cleaned this would not occur. Didn’t see a single maid. My guess is they don’t even wash the bedding. My son’s room has no shower curtain, a broken shower and clogged sink. Guy at the front desk acted perplexed but previous reviews show it’s not the first time. Stay next door at the courtyard Marriott

Kitchenette counters and table were dirty. Room phone did not work despite being plugged in. Vending machine was broke. I was informed washer & dryer was broke too. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, generic yogurt, and juices/milk. I would not stay here again.

I chose this hotel because of the price point and decent reviews and was so please with the spacious rooms and will definitely make this my new go to hotel when I come to Ames Iowa. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent.
