I do not know if this is just how Iowa operates, but if it is, the rest of the country needs to take notes. Every single person we encountered acted like they were personally invested in making sure we had a great stay. The gentleman running the breakfast service could not have been kinder. Every front desk clerk we interacted with was friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. Even the housekeeping staff greeted us with smiles that felt downright contagious. These folks are the reason customer service used to be legendary. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and never let up. If I had to mention anything at all that was not perfect, it would be the window in our room. It could probably use a little more weather stripping because it whistled when the wind picked up. Frankly, it sounded like the room was trying to harmonize with the prairie breeze. Not a big deal, just something we noticed. Overall, we left feeling impressed, appreciated, and already talking about coming back. They made our stay memorable in the best way possible.
