  Changed the hotel reservation within the window. And came the day I told them... the person wrote down the wrong day and we didnt come till the next day. Was told at the desk that its ok. When we checked out my card was charged twice! Called 4 different times and finally got a manager. Its not refundable. Definitely wont be going there ever again... no communication! And the person i talked to there to change my reservation was RUDE !

  The room was very pleasant it was cozy and clean breakfast was excellent and fresh the hotel team was always friendly and extremely helpful at check out Danni went above and beyond making me feel truly valued and welcome excellent customer service

  This Best Western in Altoona IA is wonderful! Very close to many attractions. The rooms are clean, the lobby area is well lit, clean and variety of hot beverages (coffee, hot chocolate and tea). The breakfast area is very clean, there are many food items (hot, cold, bagels, bread, etc) to choose from which is a great variety and the staff makes sure it is refilled when necessary so guests don’t have to ask for anything. Karla at the front desk is awesome and if I could give her a 10 star review I would have. She was kind, considerate, happy, I could go on and on. The other front desk were very nice and helpful but I had more contact with Karla. Thank you Karla for everything! We definitely will be staying there again and again when we are in the area.

  Room was exceptional, clean and comfortable. The rate was reasonable for the quality of stay. Breakfast was good. The staff were busy with a bus load of high school youth. And you couldn't even tell the youth were there till morning. Even with the group, breakfast was well stocked and issues were handled promptly. Definitely stay here again!
