What is your cancellation policy?
Pay Now rates are fully pre-paid and non-refundable.
Pay Later rates must be cancelled 14 days prior to arrival, by 12pm hotel time, to avoid a penalty of two nights’ stay plus tax.
Pay Later rates for Retreat Collection must cancel 60 days before arrival to avoid 2-nights room and tax. Full Non-Refundable Deposit due 14 days prior to arrival.
Within Collection rates must be fully paid in advance.
There are particular dates throughout the year for which guarantee and cancellation policies may vary.
If you simply don't show up, we'll charge two nights’ stay plus tax to the credit card on file.
Can you do early arrival or late departure?
Check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 12pm. Book an early flight? Want to sleep in? We’ll do our very best to accommodate you – just let us know in advance. If we can’t, we’ll gladly stow your luggage safely and securely, until you’re ready to move on. There is an early departure fee of one night’s stay plus tax. There is a late checkout fee of half night’s rate plus tax after 12pm or full night’s rate plus tax after 4pm.
Are pets allowed?
Your pet is welcome here! Just add them to your reservation when you book online or reach out to us to let us know they'll be joining you. We understand that sometimes pets can act like animals (and wreck things). If that happens, there may be additional costs for the repair of any damages or additional cleaning requirements. Please familiarize yourself with the house rules.
Is there available parking?
Valet parking is offered for all vehicles. There is a $55+ tax per night charge for overnight valet parking for hotel guests. For day guests, restaurant patrons and spa guests, the following valet parking charges apply: up to 4 hours: $20+ tax; 5 to 12 hours: $55+ tax
Is smoking allowed?
1 Hotel Hanalei Bay is a smoke-free property. Smoking is prohibited in guestrooms, suites, balconies and public areas. If smoking occurs, a cleaning fee of up to $500 per room and $1,000 per suite applies. Designated smoking areas are available.

Do you have a house car? How far will it take me?
Our fully electric Audi e-tron fleet is available daily between 9am to 5pm for guests to test drive in the local area on a first come first serve basis. House Car services are available Tuesday through Saturday between 9am to 5pm and will take you within 3 miles radius of the hotel.
Can I walk to places nearby?
Yes, a variety of beaches are within walking distance, Princeville Makai Golf and Tennis club are approximately 1 mile distance from the hotel and Princeville Shopping Center is approximately 2 miles from the hotel.

Yes, swimming in Hanalei Bay is a beautiful experience. With its calm, clear waters, the bay offers the perfect setting for a refreshing dip or a leisurely swim. Our team can also guide you to the best snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking spots nearby.

Yes, The Field House by Anatomy is open 24 hours with a guest key. It offers a wide range of equipment including boxing bags, treadmills, ellipticals, pilates equipment, dumbbells, bikes and more.

Yes, Seedlings is our kids club on property.
Does your hotel have beach access?
Yes, our hotel is located oceanfront at Puʻu Poa Beach. Beach chairs are also available for hotel guests to reserve during their stay.
