I had high expectations for this resort, and it surpassed all of my expectations. The location is gorgeous. Perfectly lush. View of the beach. Close to the beach. Delicious breakfast options. Fast room service. Great dinners at Mozza and Nobu. The staff was attentive. Always asking if we need anything, if we want to order any food by the pool, never had to follow up and never seemed like a bother when I asked. We especially loved Francis at Mozza breakfast and Uncle Bruno taking care of the birds! Lovely people gorgeous resort, updated rooms, large lanais with comfortable furniture. Excellent!! Thank you everyone for a magical stay.

I would say this is a very average four seasons property. The setting was quite nice, but the beach is a bit removed and public (although not used by many people). The pools were very nice and there’s plenty of seats and pool chairs. They have four restaurants — a casual cafe, Malibu farms for lunch and then a breakfast restaurant that also does dinner, and a Nobu. The restaurants are ridiculously ridiculously ridiculously overpriced, which for me greatly deducts from the enjoyment of the resort. I think of luxury resorts as somewhere with an expensive but all you can eat buffet for breakfast… a dinner of 100 per person. Not the case here. À la carte breakfast, 100-200$ a person, small portions, underwhelming food. That, in addition to charging $65/hour just to use a tennis court, really ruins the illusion of luxury. You spend a lot of money to come here, and they kind of slap you in the face with all sorts of fees and add ons. Almost everything in the room is for a fee, for example — sparkling water is $9. The resort is great for a quiet beach getaway, but be prepared to shell out cash. There’s probably better options.

I’m not one to usually leave reviews, but my husband and I came here for our honeymoon and it was incredible. The service was amazing, the food was incredible and the view from the hotel is stunning. The snorkeling right off the hotel was one of our favorite things in the entire world, and all of the friendly folks working at the property made it a 15/10 experience. I e absolutely will be coming back - it was so special and a big shout out to the GM there for making the experience so special and personal for us.

Although the room is a bit small, compared to the Marriott at the Ritz-Carlton Turtle Bay, this place can truly be called the best and most relaxing vacation destination in Hawaii. The peaceful surroundings, sincere service, and spotless environment create a perfect getaway — an experience that makes life feel truly worthwhile. The play of light and shadow, the gentle embrace of the waves — all the noise and worries of the world seem to fade away in this moment. The world is such a beautiful place, and you deserve to explore it with pride. While dining at this hotel tonight, my partner accidentally spilled the entire glass of wine onto the floor. The waiter kindly and promptly helped us clean up and brought us a new glass. When we received the bill, we noticed that we were only charged for one glass. This thoughtful gesture made us feel that this is truly a hotel with warmth and heart.

Lāna‘i Honeymoon Review – A Dream Come True Lāna‘i was our third stop on our honeymoon, following the Big Island and Maui — and what an unforgettable way to end the trip. We took the morning ferry from Maui to Lāna‘i (we were originally going to fly but were advised that the ferry was the better option — and we’re so glad we listened!). Upon arriving on the island, we were warmly greeted by Flora, one of the Four Seasons ambassadors. She made sure all guests were accounted for and escorted us to the resort. From that moment on, the magic began. Arriving at the Four Seasons Lāna‘i is unlike any other experience we’ve ever had. And we’ve been fortunate to travel to many incredible places and stay in top-rated hotels around the world. But nothing compares to this. The Four Seasons Lāna‘i takes serenity and luxury to an entirely new level — from the stunning décor and open layout to the flawless service. This is paradise, plain and simple. While waiting for our room, we grabbed a quick bite at The Break and began to explore the property. Every corner was more breathtaking than the last. When our room was ready, we received a text and met Amanda, who was so friendly and helpful in curating the perfect itinerary for our stay. She showed us to our room — and we were speechless. The space was elegant, spacious, and offered an unbelievable view of the ocean and the resort grounds. Speaking of the grounds — it’s a literal sanctuary. Winding paths lead you to koi ponds, small waterfalls, charming bridges, and bursts of vibrant flowers. Birds of all colors soar above, dolphins swim close to the shore, and white-spotted deer roam freely. It’s a place that reconnects you with nature in the most beautiful way. The room itself was a haven of sophistication. Every detail was luxurious — from the Neorest bidet toilet and flat-screen TVs to the plush bedding and cloud-like mattress. It was the best sleep we’ve ever had. But what truly sets the Four Seasons Lāna‘i apart is the people. This place has healed a part of us we didn’t even know needed healing. A few standout individuals made our stay extraordinary: Chaslyn and Ben (Guest Services Managers): Meeting Chaslyn was such a blessing. She made sure the start of our trip exceeded all expectations and played a huge role in making Lāna‘i the highlight of our honeymoon. Jay Heu and Jay (at the beach): Incredibly welcoming and attentive. Uncle Bruno (bird caretaker): A true gem — so passionate and kind. Gabby, Brandon, and Nick (Front Desk): Always cheerful and helpful. Diego and Joy (The Break): Great service and even better vibes. Captain Chris, Joemar, and Noah (Snorkeling Catamaran): Made our ocean adventure unforgettable. Dennis (Clay Shooting): An awesome and unique experience! Each person we encountered was dedicated to creating not just a vacation, but a transformational experience. Their passion, kindness, and genuine care made us feel not just like guests — but like family. When you’re surrounded by this level of natural beauty and genuine hospitality, it shifts your entire perspective. The bar has been permanently raised — and we’re not mad about it! We’ve found a new place we can truly call home. The Four Seasons Lāna‘i staff are now part of our ‘ohana (family), and we are so thankful to each and every one of you. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. We love and appreciate everything you’ve done for us. We wish you joy, health, and happiness — and we’ll see you again soon. Mahalo!
