Staying at the Four Seasons Resort at Ko Olina was honestly the best decision we made on our trip to Oahu! If you’re not staying here for at least one night, you’re seriously missing out on one of the highlights of your trip.
From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The level of detail throughout the resort is amazing and everything feels high quality and thoughtfully designed.
We stayed in an ocean view room, and it was quiet, spacious, spotless, and very luxurious. The pools are beautiful, and having direct access to the beach makes it even better.
I really want to highlight the staff again. They truly go above and beyond. One of the concierges took the time to guide us on what to do around Oahu, and his knowledge was incredibly helpful.
I definitely recommend this resort! You won’t regret it. The pictures I attached speak for themselves!

When you are at this hotel, expect a constant child screech from the nearby Disney resort. When I say nearby, I mean 20 feet away. It’s a lagoon so you can see and hear everything.
Staff is excellent, food delicious. Breakfast buffet overpriced. Best of luck

I cannot say more positive things about our stay at the Four Seasons O’ahu. From the moment we walked in Sean at the front desk started the trip off with exceptional hospitality.
Each and every hostess, server and bartender (special mention of Joseph & Jasmine at La Hiki and Morganne on the beach/cabanas) was so friendly and responsive. Also to Paul at Manola Lounge, who handled an issue for us (no fault of hotel or restaurant). The food across the resort was delicious whether being delivered poolside/beach or dinners at Manola or Noe. There are also plenty close by to the resort that the house at can take you to (Roy’s, Longhis, Monkeypod, and Melkiko)
The rooms were clean and spacious, and we enjoyed the Easter cupcake and macaroons they left in our room. Food service went out of its way to deliver us some brownies we had earlier in the day at the pool, that were not on any hotel menu. Staff throughout the resort was friendly making sure to engage and say hello whenever passing by.
The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, and the lagoon makes this a no brainer for those of us with young kids. Our kids enjoyed building sand castles on the beach, but also at the kids club doing fun craft activities and gecko hunts, scavenger hunts and feeding the koi fish throughout the resort.
We paid for the resin surf board activity, which was such an engaging and fun experience for both me and my daughters. Now we have a personal and beautiful souvenir to take home.
The concierge team not only booked us hard to get dinner reservations, but also recommended to us pillbox hikes (the one in Kaneohe was such a beautiful view), zip lining up at CLIMB Works, and taking a UTV ride through Kualoa Ranch. We also hiked Mānoa Falls and rode horseback at Gunstock Ranch.
The valet team also deserves mention, as we rented a Jeep during our stay and took it out frequently. They provided towels & umbrellas, opened our doors on every arrival and exit, and also helped take off the hardtop on nice days we drove across the island.
We spent 13 days at the resort and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in 18 years across many countries. It was our first stay at a Four Seasons, and if this property is the status quo for the brand overall, I’d have to say I’m a convert. I would compare it to places we’ve stayed such as the Rosewood in Montecito, CA, Al Maha in Dubai, UAE and Lily Beach in the Maldives in terms of service and experience (all exceptional and more pricey resorts).

My wife and I have stayed at a few FS hotels already and loved every one of them. So, we make it a point to stay at FS hotels when available in the area. While visiting Oahu, we decided to stay at their Ko Olina property. We checked into our room and quickly realized that the room didn't look like the pictures on the booking site. In addition, the room was not clean. There was dried liquid splatter on the TV, brown substance stuck to the remote (the TV remote was cheap like the ones at Motel 6 and Holiday Inn), no bedside electrical outlets, and in-room tablet didn't work. Really thinking about switching to Park Hyatt hotels from now... On a positive note, property besides the room looks good.
Update 1: We had to settle and switch for a king size bed with a pull-out couch bed. I didn't mention earlier, but my wife and I are traveling with my mother. We wanted to take her to FS because Hawaii was her dream vacation destination and we thought until now that FS can deliver a great experience. The front desk assured us that the room was the same size, but you can obviously tell the room is at least a third smaller than the previous room. In addition, soon as I walked on the carpet of the new room, I stepped in something that looked like large cookie crumbs... I've seriously had a better experience in my college days staying at Holiday Inn... Front desk said manager will call tomorrow morning. Will update one last time then. I've posted the picture of the new room. You be the judge on whether this room looks like a FS experience for 3 adults that you'd be willing to pay $2,000 per night for...
Update 2: So, the manager didn't reach out in the morning like front desk said, so my wife reached out. He was able to get us back in a double bed room and made sure it was clean. Downside was that it didn't have an oceanfront view like we paid for, but my wife and I wasn't about to spend another night sleeping on the couch bed. My suggestion to people having problems at this FS property is to talk to the manager instead of wasting time and aggravation with the front desk. We wasted a whole day this way. Not completely satisfied, but had a good time at the adult pool in the private luxury cabana next day.
