  Roberts Hawaii is a good reliable company. They offer great transportation service. My only complaint was it was hard to find them at the airport. My written directions from my Roberts Hawaii confirmation were to find the Roberts Hawaiian representative wearing a Hawaiian shirt at baggage claim. I looked and looked, no representative. I had to call and was given verbal directions to go out the doors at baggage claim 11 and turn right to find the white umbrellas. There was no one from Roberts Hawaii near the umbrellas. I kept searching and found the shuttle bus parked. I was very lucky, the shuttle bus driver had waited for me. That is why I at least gave them 4 stars. If they had given me the correct directions to find the shuttle I would have given them 5 stars.

  Roberts Hawaii transportation is terrible. If it wasn’t for the fact that they allow you to book in advance for Hanaua Bay, I would have preferred not to use them. They were late for pickup. One bus arrived and rudely said they’ll send a different bus. The different bus picked us up, then dropped us to the location where the initial bus was holding. The drivers are extremely rude. For pickup, the 3:15 driver was absolutely the worse. He was extremely rude, and was yelling at the poor attendant Sayuri at the location for missing some of the tourists because they boarded the bus on their own without checking in with her. He was screaming at her unprofessionally in front of everyone. The only positive thing for this service was the 3:20 bus driver Lee…now he was an island treasure, just poised, quiet, calm and had such a welcoming spirit.

  Ordering the transportation online I had two travelers, was charged for two ($58) but on the Robert’s list it showed one person. The person at the airport had me talk to someone on the phone and they said I had only been charged $29 for one. I told them I was charged for two but he insisted no. I showed the lady at the airport the credit card transaction of $58. They said they would charge me another $29. I have not seen the other charge come through yet but will call if it does.

  I chose Roberts because of their longevity and visibility in the islands. But they are not the best bargain or service. Never again will I engage them to pick me up at HNL. There was NO service desk, NO personnel waiting at Baggage Claim. My wheelchair driver pushed me all around baggage long after all other passengers had left. Finally we saw 3 Roberts employees coming back from a break together (!)(why not split up?) and THEN I waited 45 minutes for a shuttle to Waikiki! What a WASTE.

  I'm a former kamaaina and found Roberts Hawaii an excellent choice especially in light of the new reservations system and restricted days and parking issues. I had a rental car, but decided to avail myself and wife of this opportunity for all inclusive reservation, transportation, ticketing, and viewing the required park video enroute allowing for maximum enjoyment time at the Bay. Driver was exactly on time with pickup (Hyatt Regency Waikiki), accommodating us and our beach chairs and small umbrella (stored below in the bus). The representative provided a bit of guide narrative/highlights for those new to Oahu. Return instructions were straight forward with the entire process very professional. Roberts Hawaii has been an institution in the islands for years and knows how to treat visitors and promote the Oahu spirit.
