The check in person who just came on shift was not welcoming and not sure she wanted to be there. I got a king room with an oceaview but its located right next to elevators which are extremely loud then factor in the street noise, sleep wasn't the best. The room was very small but clean. I reported issues I seem to just get AI generated messages. The adjacent restaurant and the staff are nice. The hotel is near some really good food trucks. The worst Hilton property I've stayed at and wouldn't stay there again.

They like to talk about being good neighbors but repeatedly ignore all requests to turn down the volume on the speakers that are blasting music at neighboring houses at all times of the day (and often night). Asking nicely doesn't seem to get us anywhere.
I can hear their music inside despite closed doors and windows. Just so the empty cars in their parking lot can vibe, I guess :(

We went to the hotel hoping to enjoy their pool but it turned out to be such a disappointing experience. We booked a cabana on ResortPass. It was our fifth time using ResortPass, and unfortunately it was the worst experience we’ve had so far. Before booking, I read past reviews and believed others’ positive experiences, so I decided to give this a try.
For context, I booked this Pool Cabana at The Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki for my family with four young children (ages 7 and under).
Check-in took an unusually long time — it felt close to 20 minutes, which is extremely challenging when you’re managing multiple small kids. We were also looking forward to purchasing food and drinks since we followed the policy stating outside food and drinks are not allowed. However, there was only one staff member, who left at 5 pm, and when she left, all water service was removed as well. The booking details state the pool is open until 8 pm, but there was no mention that food and beverage service would end early.
Because we had no water, we called the front desk to request some. We were told it would be brought to us, but it never arrived — even after waiting over 30 minutes, until we ultimately left.
In addition to the lack of service, there was a very uncomfortable guest interaction. A group of adult men arrived after us, and while our children were happily playing in the pool (with us actively supervising nearby), one of the men began criticizing us loudly, using cuss words and saying we were bad parents — in front of our children. We were attentive the entire time and did not feel our kids were being unsafe or disruptive.
There was no staff present at the pool to help manage the situation or step in, and we chose to leave early rather than escalate the issue with our young children present.
Overall, between the long check-in, lack of water and food service, unfulfilled requests, and absence of staff support, this experience was extremely disappointing. Sadly, we will not be returning.

Prepare yourself for an older hotel and you will have a great stay. Housekeeping was absolutely fantastic our room was serviced everyday. Check in was smooth and room we were placed in was good but very small.
The restaurant was medicore at best. Don't order the gnocchi worst pasta so bland. Breakfast was ok again nothing great and expensive. Pool area is ok but could use improvements and they host outside events that overtake the pool. Overall a good stay but lots of rooms for little improvements.

I brought my parents here for their anniversary! We loved our experience at the Ambassador! Martin and Juana in the restaurant Favorite Son were so kind and had amazing hospitality. The room was clean and had a balcony. The housekeeping staff was perfect as well! Very timely and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel
