- ACA CP1 day ago4.0Lovely modern rooms and comfortable beds and pillows. Concierge lovely and helpful, allowed for early check in when my son had been airsick the whole way from Australia which was very kind. Housekeeping never filled our toiletries despite me asking every day for soap, shampoo and conditioner and being assured they would do it whilst we were out sightseeing. Was a bit strange, I would have expected that would happen anyway when they came up to straighten up the rooms. Neighbourhood family suit was great with a bunk in one room for kids and a king for us next door and two bathrooms, would highly recommend the hotel, was close to Fort de Russy beach and park with trolley and bus stops right outside. We used the pool, it was great. Liked the fact the hotel supplied reusable water bottles we could fill with ice and water every day. There is a Hui carshare facility out the back in the carpark we made use of twice, was very convenient.

The hotel itself is beautiful i love the retro theme it has going on. The pool was nice, but cold. The pool bar was also a nice touch. The hotel is walking distance from almost everything I wanted to do so it was very convenient. I was also able to utilize their gym as well open 24/7. It was clean, stocked up with towels and all the equipment actually works! The restaurant was also really good for dinner I had their lasagna 10/10. For breakfast I had their avocado toast and it hit home . The service provided all around was just great and im happy to have chosen the Ambassador hotel for my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in Wakkiki.

The staff are wonderful and friendly when you find the right person or anyone at all. You'll never reach anyone by phone though. The location is just close enough to be in the thick of it and just far enough to be an escape. Check out the 3rd floor rooftop bar and pool!

I never have to wait more than an hour for anything, and they usually deliver to my door within 30 minutes. It’s incredible; I have never experienced such efficiency before. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, contributing to a great hotel experience overall. We are used to our Tempur-Pedic bed at home, but this bed takes some time to get accustomed to as it seems a bit stiff. However, I am very pleased overall and would definitely come back to visit again.
- MJmandy JakobNov 4, 20253.0I had emailed earlier about getting early checkin and my travel agent had as well as we were arriving in Hawaii at 5.30am. No correspondence came back. So we rock up at around 8.30am and again ask about early checkin. No sorry the earliest we can do is 2pm this afternoon but we can hold your bags, give you access to the pool and the tiolet which was great. So we spent the day sleeping by the pool, but it was so hot there. 2pm came i went back to reception sorry room not ready yet. My cousins room was ready not long after as we had booked together we assumed we would be close, nope. So 3pm came which is normal checkin, nope room still not ready, so the young man behind the desk gave us a box of cookies which we demolished. 4pm came around and yay we could finally get into our room. One thing I did not realise and noone told us was that they would put a $100 per night hold on your credit card um that would have been handy to know especially as we dont have a credit card The bed was extremely comfortable, shower small, cleaners come around at 6 one night and 4ish the other night. Pool great, live music on Fri and Sat night at the restaurant, food pretty good. The gym was great as was the use of the ice machine
