  Our tour guide was erudite, knowledgeable and funny. He was low key and relaxed. The Stars and Stripes tour is a perfect full day and he made sure we saw everything important in Honolulu but in a smooth and relaxed manner. E.g., he stopped at the Palace for photos and made sure to drive us by the murals. The tour was so much more than the only the major stops promised as advertised. Every street he drove through was chosen for his deep knowledge of Hawaii.

  We didn't have to risk not getting in on 2 day reservation gamble or getting a late start. We were able to get in by 8AM, and there were only a few people out in water when we arrived at beach. Pickup and return were easy. I will say the parking lot was not full when we arrived on a Saturday and we could have possibly waited to use service until after trying getting tickets direct as the bus was mostly empty.

  We were able to book a shuttle from the Airport to our hotel at the last minute. The booking agent on the phone, representative at the airport and the driver were all kind and knowledgeable. The shuttle bus was clean and comfortable. As it is a shuttle it took a little extra time to get to our hotel, but that is expected. I definitely recommend this service

  On the way from the airport to my hotel my driver was blasting Christian music so loudly. I found it offensive. I had a hard time drowning it out with headphones. On my return trip I was standing in the lobby where I could see the street looking for the shuttle. The only way any shuttle came by is if it didn't stop. Because I didn't see it and I was there. I got marked no show. The woman who answered the phone has no business working in customer service. She told me to calm down and that it wasn't HER fault. Well you're the one answering the phone so yes, you are the one I'm going to get mad at. And yes, I was standing right here staring at the street and the shuttle said I wasn't there. So yes, I am mad. She copped a total attitude with me and told me it was my fault and she couldn't do anything about it. I asked her, literally, what I am supposed to do? She put me on hold. She comes back and says "okay there's a bus..." I say "a bus? I don't want to take the bus." And she gets MAD at me and says "no! One of our shuttle buses? You think I would direct you to the bus?". Lady, I don't know what you would do when you're this rude. How am I supposed to know your internal lingo is to call your shuttles "buses"? Anyway dispatch sent a nice man with a SHUTTLE to connect me to the one that was supposed to pick me up. And the driver of the second one was great too. I would never use your company again or recommend you though. Even though I have to come here every 6 months. Not because of the mixup with the shuttle driving by me. But because the woman on the phone was HORRIBLE. An example of how NOT to handle an unhappy customer from a customer service standpoint.

  We booked Roberts Hawaii to bring us to Hanauma Bay and the experience was definitely worth it. They book your reservation at the bay for you (no waking up at 7am trying to get a reservation) and you get to watch the required 10 min instructional video on board so you can skip the line up and skip waiting for the video. Pick up and drop off locations were very convenient around our hotel area. The tour guide on the way there told us interesting stories about the neighborhoods on the way, and the guide home was a native Hawaiian who shared some personal family history. Highly recommend this tour.
