This hotel needs a facelift. It is clean and the staff offer uniformly superior service. However, it feels like the 1950s. Fixtures are old. The walk from the reception desk to the hula tower is long and unpleasant, including a hallway with doors opening onto machine/electrical rooms. The walk back to the gym (which also is okay, not great) is equally unpleasant and even longer. The elevators are small, and slow when crowded. You cannot call ahead to ask for your car from valet parking. The bellhops are uniformly excellent but there still, of course, is a wait since you cannot call ahead. All in all, a reasonable experience, no massive negatives, excellent personal service, but not fully satisfying. 4 stars.

Mike!
Big shout out to Mike!!!!
Thank you brother:)

My family and I just came home from Hawaii and what a time we had! Embassy Suites surpassed all my expectations starting with the feeling of "aloha" from the moment we checked in .. big thanks to Lorena for helping us and taking the time to explain everything and answer all of our questions =) The location of this hotel is wonderful because it is central to the main street in Waikiki. You can even cut through Royal Hawaiian if you want to avoid the street crowd to get to the other side. Breakfast buffet was great!! My kids look forward to breakfast everyday. They provided miso soup, yogurt, fruits, eggs, beacon, sausage, rice, pancakes, mini muffins, french toast and ready to made omelette station was fast. I also wanted to acknowledge the employee, Haven. Every morning we were there, he always greeted everyone with a smile and worked so hard and fast cleaning up tables so the next family can sit. Even when it was pouring rain outside.. he was cleaning up everything so efficiently and still with a smile on his face. So, big thank you and aloha to Haven! I always appreciate hard workers when I see them.
Happy hour was fun! It's usually from 530-730pm. Each adult gets 2 drinks each and there were a few nights with live music which made the atmosphere more memorable. They provided light snacks such as pretzels, chips, celery/broccoli with ranch. We did not use the pool at all since the beach was down the street so we were there everyday. The rooms were very clean and spacious for a family of 5. The cleaners were very nice and attentive and always asked if we needed anything. Overall, I do not think I can stay at another hotel in Waikiki. This place has it all especially if you have kids! It can be pricey, but you get what you are paying for. See you next year, Embassy Suites =)

Let me offer you a MASSIVE TIP. If you’re considering staying here, make sure you call the hotel directly and ask them if all the elevators are working in the tower you’ll be staying at. We had one elevator down and man did it suck. It was broken the entire time we stayed here and I literally loathed having to use it because it took so long to get to our floor. Everything about this hotel was great (including the breakfast) but being down one elevator in our tower sucked. I really didn’t want to have to say this but hopefully it will nudge the owners to ensure the elevators work (or a massive priority to get fixed if not). Otherwise you need to expect lineups. Other than that the experience here was great. Wonderful location and be sure to rent a car from Akamai across the street as they were so easy to deal with and honest.

Embassy Suites Waikiki is a block away from Waikiki Beach and a 10-15-minute walk to the International Market. The room attendant on the 15th floor was super nice. She never fails to greet us with a smile and ask if we need anything (my bad I didn't get her name).
This hotel offers free breakfast, late afternoon snacks and a free cocktail every night. Kudos to the Breakfast and Kitchen team also for their superb service.
Now, the elevator: we were surprised that there were only two guest elevators for this very busy 21-level hotel floor. Our first day was memorable not in a good way as we got stuck in the elevator with 6 other people... the two-way communication inside was not even working also, we were knocking and shouting for minutes for help (take note again Embassy Suites Team).
Anyway still thankful that they got us out with no medical emergency issue and appreciate the call from Manager Josh.
It was not a good 1st day experience in Embassy but as a Hilton member will still recommend this hotel for cleanliness, location, and great service.
