We were here with a Resort Pass room for the day. Late flight home from our cruise.
Very nice staff at the first taxi drop off area, held our luggage till our room was ready. Check in person was supposed to give us a courtesy key card to access the pool and restrooms. that caused us a bit of trouble but other employees unlocked things for us. Desk personnel need better directions to help ResortPass customers.
Room was very nice, clean, comfy beds to we could nap before the red eye flight home.
The Hawaii Hiker Grill attached to this property is so great. Delicious fresh ingredients, nice owner and fast service. Highly recommend.

Good place to stay for a good price. I stayed here for 5 days and enjoyed my visit. It’s an okay location, about a 20 minute walk from Waikiki beach. Which I didn’t have a problem with, but if you have issues with long distances, I’d stay somewhere closer. The valet is an easy service to use and the staff was super friendly and gentlemanly! The room itself is okay, good furnishings, but no microwave in the room. It was also extremely quiet for my whole stay. I saw very few other guests, it felt like a ghost town some days. I stayed on the 19th floor so I’m unsure if this applies to all the rooms, but the wind was strong outside and you could hear it through the crack in the balcony door. It was very loud and made the door bang a couple of times against the frame. Additionally, it made the room humid. Personally, this made the overall stay a 3.5 star experience as sleeping was difficult to do in these conditions. The restaurant in the hotel was also okay. Not the best food I’ve ever had, and definitely not a place I’d recommend over the other Hawaiian restaurants around, but okay if you’re tired after a long day and just want a quick, filling meal. The only real reason I went to the restaurant was for the BeatBox flight they offered which, as someone in their 20s, appealed to me greatly. The cafe, Hiking Hawaii Cafe, was the real star of this hotel. Amazing service and great food. I got smoothies and açaí bowls from there every morning and they never disappointed. They were extremely delicious and the cafe itself is so cute. I wouldn’t stay here again, personally, but if all you need is a cozy bed and friendly service at a good price, then I would recommend this place!

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days in December, which obviously means I forked over hundreds and hundreds of dollars to this hotel. The day I intended on leaving, I missed my flight and just came back to the hotel to re-situate myself because I was freaking out. I was then kicked out for loitering. That is the most unfathomable thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. I had my kitten with me and they didn’t care. How is that even legal? I was treated like a criminal! At the hotel I just spent 10 days at like $200 a night plus pet fee plus parking fee! Treated like a dirty vagrant shifty dangerous criminal. That is how they treated me… dirty.
You don’t know what people are going through. I’ve had a very hard life. I was going through an extremely hard time. I was not at the hotel for a vacation. I was dealing with an emergency. And you kicked me out on the street with my 95 and 60 pound suitcases and my kitten literally on the street.

Had an absolute blast staying here. Room service was on point and had the room to my liking every day. Customer service was amazing! Jung Min and Reynold were both great people and took care of me. Jung helped me get into the room early working with my flight schedule. Reynold was great with helping me navigate the area and find activities that were fun and cost effective. I look forward to staying here again later in the year.
