  Thoroughly enjoyed my first dungeon visit - though it would just be just jump scares, but was wowed by the acting and history! They do pick on people, but they can tell who is a good candidate, and who looks terrified. Well worth a visit, and they do accept York pass - must book in advance online.

  The experience was great, I had a a slight issue with needing the bathroom mid performance. I waited till the actor had completed his bit and then politely asked him if I could use the toilet, he was able to whisk me away without distrupting the tour, once I had finished I expected to be taking to the exit. However another member of staff was there to accompany me back to the performance to give the illusion that I had never left. Would definitely recommend anyone to watch this performance as the actors were great during the whole experience.

  Me, my mum and my brother came today for the 11:20 slot for his birthday, and the actors was absolutely amazing. They got us all involved in the history and the witch was absolutely terrifying she was amazing, they was all so kind and stayed in character! Was our first time going and can’t wait to go back again!! Was a bit creepy as well , me and my mum got our hair pulled behind us and our back touched but nothing was there, but loved every second of it

  Visited here a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic. The whole place looked great, clean and tidy. The experience was fun, unfortunately I had to leave early with part of my group but the staff were amazing at getting us out quickly, no questions asked and the lady who took us out was so kind and understanding. The rest of the group who stayed really enjoyed the remainder of the experience. I would recommend visiting and be well assured that if you do need to leave for whatever reason the staff are more than willing and happy to assist! Something to note for those not wanting to be chosen for audience participation is that you can ask for a 'yellow sticker' from the desk before entering, it glows in the dark and is there to show the staff that you do not wish to take part or be chosen, you do need to make sure it is somewhere visible to them though. I stuck mine on my t-shirt and another member of my group put theirs on their hat. The gift shop is still accessible if you need to leave early too it is just around the corner from the entrance. The staff in there were also great.

  I came here with a big group. I tend to get scared easily, so I was always trying to be overly aware of what was going to happen. But if you stay in the back you won't be one of the "victims" actors will interact with. I was able to enjoy the experience like that much more :) we laughed a lot at some scenes. They have cool souvenirs at the end, too.
