  I really enjoyed my experience at York Dungeon and would recommend it. If you have any accessibility needs, the website has lots of information to help plan your visit. The experience does have some visitor participation aka being picked on, but it's really not much and adds to the experience. However, if you're at all worried about that, ask for a sticker at the start and you'll be left alone. The experience itself is scary but fun scary, and I'm not someone who watches horror films for fun. The actors who deliver the experience are brilliant, they really make it entertaining for all and are so good at what they do. In terms of how scary it is, it's fun scary and yes you'll scream but it's all harmless and will make you laugh too. Recommended!

  Totally gruesome and epic adventure where you're sure to have some "horrible histories" experiences. Great place for teens too. Wheelchair users please note - 1. You must book in advance a time slot where you will be met at the door with a ramp. 2. Electric wheelchair users must transfer into a manual chair that is not self propelling. Had a fantastic time, team of staff were very well organised to provide accessibility throughout.

  Brilliant. If you have been to the London Dungeon this is better. Some shows are similar some are different but the groups you go round in are smaller so you feel you are always at the front. I had a wonderful time here.

  This was totally unexpected and a fantastic experience overall. The actors did not hold back and were utterly enthralling. We laughed, we screamed, we laughed and there were some jump scares but nothing too scary for our 9 year old. We were still talking, and laughing about it days later. ***** Would absolutely recommend this and bravo to all the staff. *****

  Great experience overall. Better acting than some of the stuff on the TV. Funny parts through and some jumpy stuff. Wasn't expecting any of what I saw. I thought I was going to see some props with descriptions not a live experience. Definitely would recommend and great work to all the people working there.
