  Parking is a pain, rooms and bar and breakfast were great. One/two people on reception meant pretty much having to queue at all times. A large group arrived and checked in then went to the bar and I overheard the bar staff complain that they went for a drink. Staff helpful to interact with but a bit unprofessional to be grumbling about people doing what hotels and bars are for… using them and paying their salaries!

  What a great place, very clean and looks recently refurbished. £67 for a Sunday night off super.com, great location and spacious rooms with large bathroom.

  After 17 hours of travel from Seattle we could not have asked for a better greeting, stay and location. Big thanks to Avril, Darren, Helena, Jenna & Elijah!

  Lovely rooms welcoming staff.food was very nice in the restaurant 88 now they are doing the ordering from the menu not the app, which is loads better .only a 5min walk to the centre of York, And if your lucky as we was theres a carpark at the rear of the hotel .not many spaces but I got one at only £18 for 24hrs which is cheap compared to the just park .really recommend the hotel .

  Room 225 has to be the noiseiest room on the planet. It has the lift bing bonging all night it has room doors banging and mostly it has a service room next door that has no flooring and chairs being scraped in and out from 0700 hrs in the morning until 2245 hrs at night. Service ws good, location even better.
