🤯😮😱😖Holiday inn Piccadilly york city centre .... the biggest and exceptional scammers in york. I booked a room and the hair tied back red head women about 5 foot 4 inches took and insisted payment on my bank card first at reception and then didnt give me my room key and said nothing just stood there like a lemon. I just walked out on the hair red head women absolutely shocking and unacceptable behaviour.... i suppose she would call it her best customer service skills. I dont stay with scammers they are unsafe. Thank God lucky escape for me.

Stayed here with Brass Band this last weekend,Great Location & close to centre. Doubled up with someone in a twin room but found the standard beds a bit narrow & the rooms a bit warm,Id book a room on my own next time just for a bigger bed,Breakfast Great & staff outstanding & hopefully back next year.

It is a good hotel for the price. I just checked in today, so I can’t speak of the breakfast. The room is spacious to others I have experienced on average. It is fairly modern and in a good state, not luxurious. But nice. It would be a fair walk to the downtown area for children and elderly people I would imagine. Probably just under a mile round trip walking. There are a plentiful amount of grocery stores and eating establishments within a decent distance. Some of the city wall is only 4-5 blocks away.
