  The worst hotel I ever whent in. When we walked into our room the sheets had stanes on them and the staff said they didnt have any clean ones which is unacceptable. The pictures lie to there customers. nothing like the pictures. We asked the staff to clean the room when we went to check out the city and they didn't listen. The walls are paper thin and for some reason we had a door that lead too the room next door and they LOCK IT WITH A DIRTY SPOON. I recommend not coming here at all and just too say the hotel doesn't even listen and fix there mistakes.

  So dirty bed 🛌 Before sleeping check your pillow, blanket and mattress All needs to be checked and changed. At night you can hear your neighbours dialogue 😉 crazy securities Just location and breakfast 😋

  The rooms are delapedated and falling apart, this was just a place to sleep as we visited York but definitely won't be going back till it's had some investment. Very expensive for such poor accommodation.

  Lots of random damage in the room I had, chipped paint sometimes the size of my fist, a broken door on the dresser, marks all over the bathroom, the USB charge slot by the bed didn't work. Really seemed to want me to get food there, a lot, constantly mentioned. Long walk into the city if you want to do so, but not at all impossible. Follow the road and there you go.

  Dear General Manager, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at the Holiday Inn York on Tadcaster Road. We stayed at your hotel while attending the races and, as expected during such a busy event, paid a premium rate for our room. Given the price we paid, we expected a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, this was not the case. As we checked in quite late after a long day at the races, we were looking forward to a good night’s sleep. Instead, the air conditioning unit in our room leaked water continuously throughout the night, soaking the carpet beneath it. The constant dripping noise and the worry about the leak significantly disturbed our sleep. In addition, we found the hotel itself to be tired and dated, which was disappointing and did not reflect the premium price we had paid. I would like to acknowledge that the breakfast the following morning was excellent. It was the one part of our stay that met our expectations, and we are more than happy to pay for that. Unfortunately, it did not make up for the poor night’s sleep and the overall disappointing condition of the hotel. Overall, the quality of our stay fell well below the standard we expected from Holiday Inn, particularly at an inflated event rate.
