- PHPhilip Hollowday5 days ago4.0Good location for York, easily accessible by car; excellent bus service into central York. Modern restaurant, good breakfast. Easy parking.
- XMXY MOct 7, 20262.0This is the worst holidayinn I have ever stayed in; the room was shabby and run-down, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. There was even a sock left behind under the sofa bed. Surprisingly, the hotel didn't provide any spare blankets or duvets—if you were cold, you just had to tough it out!
- AAAloesoapbarsSep 29, 20264.0Staff were friendly and informative on arrival and check in was quick and simple. Overall good value for the facilities but could do with a bit of an upgrade/refurb in communal areas.
- NFNigel FieldingSep 25, 20261.0What an awful place. Corridors, walls and skirting are damaged with numerous chips out of the paint work, certainly need a refresh. Rooms are very tired. Big holes in curtains, paintwork damaged. Window rubbers coming out. Nothing like the Holiday Inn Express we recently stayed in at Cambridge which was excellent.
- GHgarry hirdSep 20, 20265.0I use this hotel for work frequently. It has a large complimentary car park, the rooms are comfortable and it suits me for location which is basically at York Racecourse. The restaurant and bar area had been recently renovated and has plenty of outdoor seating in the nice weather. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. A big shout out to Joseph and Ruby in the bar and restaurant area, also Erin on reception who always greets you with a warm smile.
