  We had4 days in york and used the holiday inn express as our base. Honestly couldn't fault anything. From the manager down, all the staff were friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and hot and we had a good selection of food, cooked, cereals, fruit, pastries and there was a good selection of drinks both hot and cold. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. Keep up the good work 👏

  Place is spotless nice size room. Ground floor room with nothing overlooking the window.

  It's OK but where is the Yorkshire gold teabags and twinning breakfast tea bags?. (they have decaf, but who the hell drinks decaf)

  Had a lovely 2night stay here can’t fault it , lovely clean place breakfast great , staff friendly and attentive only fifteen minutes from the centre of York , lovely shopping centre 2 minutes away will definitely stay here again when coming to York
