  I’m a regular Premier Inn customer, but this was by far my worst experience yet. The room smelled strongly of tobacco, which was absolutely disgusting and made the stay very unpleasant. I had dinner in the restaurant, and the experience was as poor as it gets. Despite having only one order ahead of us, it took 45 minutes for the food to arrive. I ordered a burgers, and unfortunately, it was terrible. I had originally planned to order the mixed grill, but they had run out of chicken. They offered to replace it with an egg or sausage, but when I suggested gammon instead, this was refused. Considering Premier Inn offers unlimited sausages and eggs at breakfast, it’s hard to understand the value in that alternative—particularly when the replacement option was £5 cheaper than what I had originally intended to order. All in all, this is a Premier Inn I will definitely be avoiding on my next trip to Worthing. It’s especially disappointing given that I paid around £170 for the room and dinner. I expected a much better experience.

  Management really needs to take a serious look at the level of service being provided at this hotel. I was left waiting at reception and, when I was finally acknowledged, I was treated more like an inconvenience than a paying guest. The receptionist stood with her hands in her pockets and showed very little interest or professionalism. I asked whether I needed to book for an evening meal and was told there was no need — simply turn up. So I did. I arrived at the restaurant at 7pm, was shown to a table and then apparently became invisible. By 8pm I was still sitting there with the menu and had not even been offered a drink. When I eventually asked whether I could get one, I was told they were busy. Being busy may explain a delay. It does not explain leaving guests completely unattended for over an hour. In the end, I ordered a Deliveroo while sitting in the hotel restaurant. Remarkably, the Deliveroo arrived before anyone had taken my food order — and I still hadn't been served a drink. That probably says everything that needs to be said about the level of service. This was not an isolated incident either. Several other guests appeared to be sitting in much the same situation. And before this is dismissed as somebody who stays in a Premier Inn once or twice a year and expects five-star treatment, I stay in Premier Inns around four nights a week and have done so for roughly ten years. I know exactly what the normal standard is, and this was nowhere near it. Poor reception, poor restaurant service and a complete lack of attention to guests. Management needs to address this, because regular customers notice when standards fall this badly. Very disappointing. BE WARNED ⚠️

  The helpfulness and kindness of both Aija and Sean was second to none!!! Real warm people providing proper hospitality!!! I made a booking error and they rectified it with ease and with smiles! I can’t thank them enough! (And Keith is a lovely chap too!)

  Premier Inn Worthing offers a simple base, though the Bognor Regis location provides noticeably higher standards for both dining and on-site amenities. The meals here remain quite plain, and the facilities could benefit from a refresh. Helpful team on arrival, but better options exist locally.

  A run down version of Premier Inn, but the air con worked fine during the summer heat in the upgraded room and clean and quiet enough. Though upon arrival to check in we were told “I am in the middle of something” 🤣😅. Location for beach perfect just across the road, 20 min walk to town. Wouldn’t stay at this particular location again.
