I would like to thank Vicki and Jay for the service they provided for my partner during his stay. The breakfast was hot which is a first as he has stayed in many premier inns with work.

I've stayed in a few Premier inns and largely they are basically the same . In fact that's why I stay in them if there's one available and reasonably priced. Because you know what you're going to get. You aren't usually disappointed and sometimes you're impressed. It's probably my fault for not realising it but this Premier inn is basic compared with the others I've stayed in. The first disappointment was the restaurant. It isn't contained in the main building. It's one of those where the hotel is served by a separate pub/restaurant. That's ok, I've experienced them before, I stayed in their Lowestoft hotel and the pub was good and open at normal pub times. The Littlehampton one opens at 5pm. So because I'd arrived after a four hour journey at 3.30 and I was hungry I nipped off to the nearest Burger king. I was looking forward to a pint, but I had to wait until 5. When I wandered in the Pub/ restaurant at two minutes past five I discovered there was no bitter or cider on draft and the bottled range was limited. The location is isolated. On a main road near some trading estates. The reception is one of those little ones, just big enough for two people to stand behind. No lounge area to relax or socialise. The hotel seems to be one that you are meant to walk into, sleep and leave. The Restaurant is there just to serve meals, get eaten and retire back to your room. They do have an hotel in the actual town which I didn't stay at because I wanted a ' quick getaway ' the following morning. One good point, they have a car park and it's free. I shouldn't really see that as a bonus. There was a time when a free car park was the norm. So to conclude. If you want to eat, sleep and leave this is the place for you. If you expect at least a little more of an experience, it's not . By the way, this hotel was not cheap, £164 for the night. The one in town was cheaper. The staff were good and doing the best with what they had available. I will still stay in Premier inns, but I'll make sure I read the details and question why isn't a restaurant or bar or anything else except the rooms pictured.

Had a really lovely stay! Room very pleasant to be in, comfortable bed, nice and quiet, staff all really warm and friendly and helpful (including Chloe at the restaurant), breakfast was delicious and plentiful - nice touch having berries and fruit salad as part of what's on offer, and the cooked breakfast was yummy. Oh, and great air con, which was significant as I was there in a heatwave.

Small hotel with two buildings, each just 2 storeys. Large car park area. Although it is situated close to the Roundstone By-Pass the double glazed windows kept all traffic noise out. Quiet spot in a residential area and about a 25 minute walk to East Preston beach. Ideal for visiting the local area and Hove is only 40 minutes away.
