The checkin process was very efficient and the duty manager, Stanley Lim who checked mr in was particularly helpful and friendly. I am pleasantly surprised with the room which overlooks the north terminal Gatwick and is only 5 mins walk across the road from the hotel which is handy. I have an early flight in the morning so staying at the airport was ideal. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The bed is extremely comfortable. The AC was working very efficiently. Everything. Including the tea and coffee, is there to make an extremely comfortable stay before my early flight at 5:55am.

Positives: The hotel is very close to the terminal, a minute walk. The room is spacious although we found someone else's rubbish under one of the beds. Negatives: The signposting isn't clear and therefore if you're in Gatwick for the first time, you'll struggle to find a way to the hotel. Also, the hotel is filthy. The carpets are stained, as are some of the walls. The walls are so thin we can hear people talking in the room next to us. It's also awfully cold even though we adjusted the a/c. The staff of the restaurant/bar are clearly struggling with the high volume of guests. We booked at table for 5pm. We ordered almost immediately. The drinks didn't arrive for ages. We waited for a very long time for the starters and the mains. Our son's main was wrong. The prices are high considering the service and the quality of food (it wasn't good at all - not cooked properly). Let's see what the night is like.

Too whom this may concern. I got in from my holiday’s I came straight to premier inn. Because I booked a hotel room online. I’ve already paid for it but I didn’t fill it out properly instead of turning me away. A very tall gentleman asked me to sit down and wait in anther area of the hotel. Mean while he asked another member of staff to see what they could do. He was very helpful but unfortunately I cannot remember his name. My apologies anyway The reason why? unfortunately I messed up my booking schedule. But a lady by the name of Nisha! Managed to sort out a hotel room for me. I only had to pay an extra £4.00 on my credit card. Once again I’d like to say a massive thank you to them both. The manager to make sure I had a stress free. Night/ morning. Once again a big thank you. Kind Regards Paul Walker

I stayed at this hotel for one night during early August 2026 and will break down my experience below. We arrived to the airport via the train in the South Terminal. Then took the tram from South to North terminal. Upon arrival at the north terminal, the hotel was a very short walk from the terminal building (adjacent - just crossing the road.) Once we arrived at the hotel, we headed up the one floor to get to the reception. We got checked into the hotel quickly by using a self service machine - there were lots of staff members to help and assist with this. The reception floor also consisted of a restaurant - Thyme bar and Grill run by the Premier Inn, a bar which was run by the Premier Inn and a Costa coffee store. There was also a courtyard which looked to be a nice place for a drink and/ or a boy of food. We, due to it being late, decided to have a meal at the on site restaurant and found it to be very good. While the decorations were somewhat outdated, the service provided was exceptional with the food also being extremely good. The room was clean, modern and had a nice atmosphere to it. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was good with a good water pressure on the rainfall shower. The bathroom toiletries provided were good. The WiFi worked well for the duration of our stay. As previously mentioned, location of the hotel was exceptional for Gatwick Airport, specifically if flying out of North Terminal (Easy jet, Air Transat, West Jet etc) Even if flying from south terminal a short free tram can be taken from the North Terminal. We also found there to be no external noise meaning we really could get “a good night.” Staff were friendly and attentive for the duration of our stay.

OK place. The good things are: you can walk from the north terminal to the hotel, the room is clean, modern and quiet. Things you might want to consider: the TV screen is nice and it opens up to a message saying they are here for all your needs at any time. However, my telephone was completely inoperative, and there was really no way to reach reception by phone or Internet. Also, you need to call reception before noon to have your room cleaned, so no clean room for me on my second day. There is no refrigerator or microwave, but there is a hot water pot and a couple of Nescafé packets. Also, there is no ice available at the hotel. Strange. The WIFI was painfully slow in my room. At times you might have to wait in line to use the elevator because big groups of people seem to come at the same time. It’s pretty much a self service hotel. No real lobby or actual reception. I would stay here again if I had to, but would look at the other hotels nearby first.
