  Unfortunately, I had a bad experience last night at 21:45 due to the rude behavior of the receptionist. She was unwilling to help me check into my room; I had politely asked her to do it for me because I was exhausted from my journey and—due to my age—I am not very good with these things; I also wear glasses and have vision problems. Once the check-in was finished and I was heading toward the elevator, I heard her speaking about me in a harsh tone to her colleague. Such behavior towards guests is unacceptable; I have visited your hotel many times and never had any issues before. Room 322... October 5, 2026... Thank you.

  The hotel was handily located only an 8 minute walk from Terminal North. I must admit more and bigger signs for the "Walking Route" would have made it easier. But the hotel itself was really good, a very comfortable room, friendly staff and I highly recommend the meal deal, excellent value for money for the evening meal + a drink and the amazing all you can eat breakfast the following day.

  Gemma and the restaurant team were beyond brilliant. So friendly and offering great conversation, which led to us saying that we were honeymooning, after which complementary Prosecco and chocolate were swiftly produced, along with a really thoughtful hand-written card! It was the sort of service that you’d expect from a 5 star hotel restaurant, which goes to show that even for a one-night airport stopover, it’s the people that make the place, and Gemma and these people make this place exceptional.

  Arrived at the hotel around 9pm with my partner and 7 year old daughter and brother in law, we made a slight mistake on the computer when you check in, I didn’t see the room number when we created a key, so I had to queue at main desk to find out what number the room was, waited 20 minutes while the queue behind me was going to the main entrance doors in view of the bar staff, one lady who wasn’t doing much kept looking over but continued to try to look busy wiping the bar, the bar staff could clearly see a queue building up as it was next to main desk, we then approached a lady behind the bar and her reply was, this is bar service not my department, so She then proceeded to try and help which by her attitude she clearly didn’t want to do, as customers were getting frustrated and made a comment which I didn’t hear, (there’s being busy and looking busy). To that the lady stormed off whilst I didn’t know what was going on, another lady turned up with attitude whilst I was surprised because i didn’t hear what was said, we then explained to the other lady we have been waiting a long time and I showed her the big queue behind me, and her reply was. (I was on my break), so I asked why did the other lady storm off, the reply was, we was rude I was surprised because I hadn’t said anything, that’s not really something you say at the main desk why was no other person covering her, she then managed to find out our room number, Part 2 I then came down stairs after going to the room to get something out of my car what I had forgotten, as I walked past main desk I can hear them talking about my surname so I approached them to try clear the air and have a civil conversation with both lady’s, this is when I found out what was actually said to the lady who stormed off, ( looking busy being busy) because my surname has an apostrophe in it some computers don’t like it which I said I understand that and I could of help but I didn’t quite get why this was the problem because she stormed off over a comment made not by me, which I told them. both I was very calm and being polite about it, an apology would of quite easily solved this problem and I would of been on my way, but I heard every excuse, (I couldn’t see you at the bar) so I said don’t lie the main desk is right next to the bar and the queue was going to the door which you can clearly see from the bar with no obstruction, the lady who stormed off stormed off again, the Second Lady then started to raise her voice and said I’m not going to have an argument with you about my staff, I agreed with her because it was the main desk in front of other customers sitting in the bar area, then she accused us of throwing something at her staff so by this point im getting annoyed because she was accusing me of something that never happened, she told me they had cameras at the main desk so i said go and have a look at the camera because I don’t like being accused of something that never happened, after an argument at main desk in front of everyone she the changed her mind to say we had thrown insults at the other lady the one who stormed off, there is a big difference between actually throwing an item at someone or an insult, the insult was .(looking busy and being busy). Like I say I never said, by this point the lady was very threatening to me and said I will make sure you will never stay here again, my reply was I don’t want to stay here again, so she was threatening to kick me my partner and 7 year old daughter out over something I didn’t hear or say or do, very unprofessional behaviour from two members of staff. Will never stay at this hotel ever again accommodation was very poor hallways smelt so bad and very yellow not very clean breakfast was horrible I would avoid at all costs, I would like to take this further to the ombudsman, I felt like it was bullish behaviour never felt so embarrassed there must of been about 10-15 quests at the bar who heard this conversation

  I have always stayed at premier Inns because you know it’s going to be a great nights sleep. This time I was on my own and the staff have been so attentive and kind , meal last night was delicious and was cook to perfection strange to say about burger and chips but it’s true and not forgetting Meah she was as wonderful again kind, friendly and so professional. A great stay 👍👍👍
