  Stayed here the day before our flight at Gatwick. We have to say that the service was excellent, from check-in to leaving. Mo in the bar area was exceptional with advice on how to walk into the town to the cinema, and for good food. Our room was very clean and spacious, and a large fan provided which was very welcomed. We would definitely stay here again in the future, start your holiday early with no worries about your trains being cancelled or the motorways jammed on the day of your holiday. Thank you all.

  Worst premier inn we have ever stayed in! Needs a complete refurb. Our room was on top floor, the windows opened 3 inches on the hottest day of the year so far we had no air con just a fan ! Our room was like a furness. The whole hotel apart from the reception area ( which did have air con) was like being inside an oven. Temperature outside in the evening was 35 We had to stay out as long as we could to avoid going into our room! We asked to be moved to ground floor as it was a tad cooler but told the hotel was full. Only 6 chairs in the bar area. The staff were good and breakfast was cooked fresh. But there needs to be air con fitted urgently or there could be a medical emergency.

  Affordable hotel for an overnight stay prior to a morning flight off Gatwick Airport. Parking is tight when busy especially if you arrive later in the evening

  Awful is an understatement on this hotel. For a premier inn to have no air con in any of the rooms in 2026 is an absolute joke! FairPlay to the staff they must take a lot of complaints about this as it's ridiculous. The rooms are like ovens. They did give us a fan but made minimal effect on cooling the room, didn't help with the outside temperatures of 30. Even the Guinness wasn't great. Not a good start to our holiday luckily it's only for a night. Wouldn't stay here again. This building also has no lift which is not good when you have suitcases!!! Awful hotel!!!

  Staff are very friendly and helpful, however room was extremely hot and air conditioning wasn’t working and had missing remote. Room had fan but has very hot baby in the room overnight. Reported to reception and couldn’t be given another room with air conditioning. I think any other week of the year this wouldn’t have been an issue but was bad timing and the AC was really needed. As I said before staff were very helpful but the lack of AC really made the night uncomfortable.
