  Location okay. Room looked clean but smelled horrendous. Bed was also very uncomfortable and neither of us slept well. Breakfast was dire with hardly any continental food left and the hot breakfast was lukewarm. As for service, both reception and breakfast left a lot to be desired! The young man on reception and housekeepers were the only ones with a smile and a hello 👋. Wouldn't stay again unless there was a major overhaul of both the hotel and on-site pub where breakfast is served. Reception staff could also use some retraining!

  We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over a good few years and this premier inn had always been a decent, value for money hotel. However at time of writing, things have deteriorated. Clean rooms and comfortable beds but meagre tea/coffee provisions, 1 towel provided for a room with 2 people and unfortunately the restaurant is in a sorry state; friendly faces but poor / un professional service, grim food and limited drink options. Our next trip to Wrexham, we will almost certainly be booking elsewhere. Real shame

  Strange meal system you cannot just go and book a table at the pub you have to do it at the hotel first The pub Skelton staff only can serve 3 people per half hour so be prepared to wait, we went in at 5:20 and was told we could get a meal at 7:30 although NO customer was in the pub at all. Overall, give the meal/pub a wide berth it's odd the way they are attempting to work!

  Sadly I can only give this location 1 star due to being double charged on two different cards for breakfast and the hotel not getting back in touch to refund it. I've been in touch with corporate to make a formal complaint.

  Premier Inn Wrexham North does exactly what you expect from a Premier Inn: it gives you a clean, straightforward place to sleep, with very little drama involved. The bed and pillows were genuinely very good and delivered an excellent night’s sleep, which is arguably the main thing you are paying for. Everything else follows the familiar 'just enough' formula: functional, comfortable and completely unremarkable. The problem is that the price we paid felt far too high for what is, ultimately, a fairly standard economy hotel. Breakfast was served in the pub, optimistically described as a restaurant. The full English was perfectly edible and filled the required breakfast-shaped gap, but there was absolutely nothing memorable about it. In summary, there is nothing particularly wrong with this hotel, it does the basics well and the sleep quality was excellent, but it feels like an economy product being sold at a premium price.
