  Impersonal corporate hotel. Everything digital, cash only accepted if you show 2 forms of ID. (To stop money laundering!) I was staying for two nights, not a two week holiday. No seating in reception whist waiting for a taxi. Car parking charge - should be free to hotel guest. Try to contact reception for query not answered on the website. Took over a hr to speak to a human. Sign-posted to virtual robot etc. won’t be staying at a premier again.

  Was going fine until im fast akip in bed and 830pm banging on the door. Answer it to be told £7 bill to be paid, thats odd as when I left nobody said anything but equally no problem, grab my card. No sorry you have to come downstairs and pay. Im in my pj's mate and was asleep. But no worries ill pay it in the morning when I come downstairs, im here with work anyway all paid for. Told nope, gotta come down. Oh can even be charged to same account used to pay early check in fee, its fine, all the payment deets are on your system, again looking for a solution as clearly im in pjs ASLEEP. Again, nope, we need to shut off our tills soon, so needs to be paid. So you want me to come down right now, as im standing here in my gilmore girls pj top and pj shorts. Dude just stares at me as to say tough, has to be paid. Reminder, this was for £7 , that i can pay on a tap machine or happily first thing or even charged to the room... apparently not, I gotta now come downstairs, clearly half asleep, bed head and look here OH GOODY, the restaurant was packed and nobody to be seen as im now having to walk round every where to find anyone. Finally found the dude as they are all having a good old chat with the chef. No problem at all, happily embarass myself further in my pjs walking round everyone eating their dinner as im in no socks, to pay this £7 ....that if not paid for that evening, premier inn closes down. Absolute shame as the two ladies that work down there were amazing night before, very friendly and I heard them chatting with everyone. Amazing how quickly you become just a number.... for £7 quid....mattress was nice though 👍

  Stayed for 4 nights and had a great stay. The room was large and clean, and the bed soooo comfortable. I had the best nights sleep in a long time. The staff were great, incredibly helpful and very polite and welcoming. We had the dining package and cannot fault the food, it was hot, tasty and plenty of it. Carparking charge point was a bit confusing but sorted by the lady on reception. Location is brilliant, literally across the road from the football ground and train station and a 10min walk into town. Only gave 4 stars as it's looking a bit tired and needs a refresh.

  Easy late night check in, clean and comfortable room. Only slight disappointment was non-opening windows on an upper floor but the AC was good enough it didn't matter that much.
