- SHStuart HaydonJun 12, 20265.0Excellent position directly off the M6 (J21) - but there was no road noise! Plenty of parking available. Usual Premier Inn facilities and all up to standard. Friendly/ helpful staff -would have been good to have some more of them around at times but no real issue. An enjoyable stay

Which is strange as they are always advertising for reception and cleaners yet they never interview the young people that apply. There are no bus time tables or anything to do with public transport available. Room was clean and the bed comfy Bath was narrow, but filled quickly with plenty of hot water I wanted an iron but there was not one and no phone in room to call reception to borrow one so I had to take my clothes to someones house Did not eat there so cannot comment on food. But no non pork breakfast meats and no gluten free alternatives so did not bother. I am allergic to pork, gluten and coconut. Just adverts for mass produced items. They seemed pretty short of staff when we visited, they were tag teaming it between the restraunt and the reception. Rooms were overall ok. Bed not very comfortable and because the window had been open when we arrived (no Aircon) I got bitten by some kind of insect. Overall a good stop off though
- MAMichael ArcherMay 29, 20264.0Overall an acceptable Premier Inn. Not my favourite but very handy when travelling north. Staff are excellent, food is ok but nothing special. I would say that their policy for people with food allergies is VERY good. Mine was cooked fresh and away from other food prep areas which is a first for me. The hot water in the rooms, especially if you are an early riser like me, is very slow in coming through the taps.
