Parking was easy enough, which is always a relief after a long drive, and the staff throughout my stay were friendly, polite and helpful whenever I needed anything. The room itself was clean and the bed was genuinely comfortable, so I had no complaints there. Breakfast service was prompt, the cooked breakfast arrived quickly, but the quality of the food itself left something to be desired. It wasn't bad, just fairly underwhelming for what you'd hope for as part of your stay. The WiFi was a real frustration. It was awkward to connect to, didn't support some of my devices at all, and I later discovered it's limited to three devices per room. This may well be stated somewhere in the terms, but it certainly isn't made clear at check-in or anywhere obvious, so it came as an unwelcome surprise. Another practical issue was being given only one keycard. This is a problem if you're travelling with someone and don't want to be joined at the hip for the entire stay, as removing the card from the room kills all the lights. It's a small thing, but it affects the basic usability of the room and feels like an easy fix that hasn't been addressed. The television was also poor quality, which let the room down a bit given everything else was reasonably well kept. We'd planned to eat at the adjoining Toby Carvery on arrival, but unfortunately they had no food available at all, so we ended up having to find somewhere else to eat instead. Not ideal when you're factoring a meal into your evening plans, especially for just a one night stay. Overall, this is a perfectly serviceable Premier Inn with a comfortable bed and pleasant staff, but the WiFi limitations, single keycard and underwhelming breakfast bring it down to a three star stay. A clearer explanation of the WiFi device limit and a second keycard as standard would go a long way to improving things for future guests, and the Toby Carvery next door really needs to sort out its food availability.

Minimalist bedrooms, no draws, bedside cabinets and a very slim hanging area. OK for one night. If you stay longer you need to tell reception that you want your room serviced. TV remotes always need batteries. Bed very comfortable and good shower,

Staff was so polite and friendly also receptionist bought up conversation about how let you both know if fire alarm. He was brilliant by the lovely gesture. Hat off him. Our first time to stay in Premier Plus room - its fab. Just let you know there is no bath. Room are so clean and high standard than normal. Wow, there is mini fridge but its fab hot weather. Also there have coffee machine but we dont use it yet.

Premier Inn, it is what it is, rooms are pretty standard. We stayed for the neighbourhood weekender so it was a bit far out but thats the price you pay. Breakfast was good enough, not the buffet style of old but claims you can order what you want(unlimited). Not really sure if you should over order or you can re order if still hungry, don't think we got asked if we wanted any more. Either way there is a decent selection and the area is kept tidy and don't forget kids under 16 eat free. Next door is a Toby carvery if you want to try there, they do breakfast as well and also have a bar, which there isn't in the hotel. Colin the night porter/manager was pleasant when arriving on the evening and even managed to find me a biscuit for my cup of tea. Great work Colin 👏

Just off the motorway near a retail park, can’t fault it. Breakfast nice, staff and rooms clean and modern
