- AAAntonyOct 16, 20261.0The rooms at this hotel are the usual Premier Inn standard. You know what you’re getting, clean, tidy, comfy bed and functional. Restaurant just fine and the staff were very friendly. However … the hotel is situated directly next to an industrial unit who started work at 6am. The noise woke me up at exactly 6.01hrs and kept me awake 2 hours before I was due to get up. Left feeling that I didn’t get a good night sleep I attempted to speak to reception staff but the reception was empty with only a drop box for keys to be handed in. Instead I contacted Premier Inn online to be told that as the noise was out of their control, then they wouldn’t compensate me for the problem. Despite a ‘good night guarantee’ being in place, it seems that this doesn’t apply when the noise is from outside of the hotel. I feel that it’s important that people know this before booking as it may well affect your stay. I have attached a picture of the industrial unit directly outside my bedroom window, about 8feet away.
- DWDanny WarsopOct 15, 20264.0I went down for breakfast this morning about 07:50 and as a person who has worked and ran a public house myself in the past I just wanted to pass on my gratitude to the lady waitress in the restaurant. She honestly couldn’t do enough for anybody and never stopped working ie. cleaning tables etc! Also she was absolutely lovely and bubbly from the moment I and any other guest entered to building! I’m not somebody who normally leaves reviews but I just wanted to leave credit where it was due!
