  Aviod--from the moment you arrive you will not be welcome. You will clearly & obviously be a great inconvenience on arrival. Must mention though,Rooms we're clean/tidy & adequate-however as with ALL Premier Inns the shower/bath is soooo high & dangerous to get into. One night arriving in the restaurant which is quite grime,just for a drink.Firstly trying to get served is a mighty challenge, I was told as I only wanted a drink i would have to wait 10/15 minutes as i hadn't ordered food,something even the other barman found odd.A singular gentleman arrived & asked for a table only to be told it'll be 1 hour at least for food. I found this quite astonishing as there was only 7 tables in use & the biggest party being 3!!! Needless to say the gentleman left. If you need to stay in this area--DO NOT stay here. Maybe look at 'The Ship Inn' in Parkgate. So much more nicer with more around you for eating/drinking & not much more to pay. So finally no AVOID

  We were playing Heswall golf course for a few days. This hotel was under 6 minutes away so location for us was great. Breakfast is what you would expect - nicely cooked full English. Rooms comfortable.

  If your looking for a one night stay on a budget, are ok to sleep on dirty sheets and be served bad breakfast then stay here. For a little more £ there are others places that will probably be better. Even when my room was cleaned they didn't clean the bathroom. The bed sheets were dirty see picture. First mornings breakfast the chef couldn't even fry an egg it was burnt to the crisp. I then told the waitress and she said I'm sorry and took my plate and nothing else, no can I get you more or probably didn't even report it to improve standards. Very lack of customer service by everyone in there to be honest. Second breakfast I skipped the egg and got beans where some was stuck together and burnt. Must have been heated up in the microwave and not even mixed just in and out and lump on my plate. Zero standards at this pemier inn Would I stay here again no and I've stayed in other premier inns and the standard was much better.
