Great location for people travelling, rooms a little tired (scuffed walls etc). Standard great reliability in terms of knowing it will be clean with a comfortable bed.

Near the m5 motorway so expect some road noise. New restaurant being built next door so construction noise from 8am.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable (as always). Unfortunately there was alteration work being undertaken during our stay which increased noise and meant the restaurant was closed. This Premier Inn will benefit greatly from the update work being carried out. 4m

Made no description when booking that there is no restaurant or bar. Instead, you get an email the day before you arrive confirming this. However, no refund is given and it's too late to arrange alternative accommodation. Refuse a refund, even partially. Currently pursuing a claim through the ombudsman as despite raising a claim with them direct, they say if you'd have booked food with us in advance we would have told you the restaurant was shut. Who books in advance at premier inn restaurant? Ditto, there was no way to book in advance at the bar

4th September 2026. Rooms were clean, bed was excellent, staff were nice, that was all good. Place could do with a lick of paint and tidy up externally, but that's cosmetic, inside was fine. There were a few trades there assessing the place, and the demolished pub suggestes it's about to get an upgrade. It was warm, very warm.... no ac, although they did provide an excellent and very quiet fan in our rooms, so some respite. I'll need to buy one of those fans. Unfortunately there was no mention until we got there they had demolished the pub and restaurant..... there was a temporary breakfast only "van" outside but limited options. Nearest pub and food was The Barn Owl about a mile walk away, about 15/20 minutes walk, not a big issue for able adults, maybe not so much for others. We were there for 4 days, so decided to head into the centre of town on the Saturday. Unless you have designated drivers, you'll need a taxi as its a 15 minute drive into town. Taxis were readily available and pretty quick to arrive though. Would have been nice to know about the current situation up front. The old part of town is very nice, had a great night out at a traditional pub and a good Indian Restaurant.
