- RCRichard CarterJun 6, 20261.0Arrived and the car park was closed for the cricket which nobody told us about, all we had was a slightly aggressive guy saying “ it’s not for the premier in and only for cricket fans”! Booked early check in from 11am, arrived at 12:30pm and the room still wasn’t ready. 20mins later, room was finally available and they still charged us the full £15 and no apology. Not a great start but gave them the benefit of doubt. Rooms are a bit grubby and seen better days, beds are comfy though. Skip to breakfast the next day, they completely ran out of hot food and the queue was out the door, waited 20ish mins for food at a buffet line and they honestly need more staff to handle the breakfast rush. All in all, terrible and would never stay here again. Premier inn has really gone downhill in my mind but the price has gone up.
