Colin who works the bar/restaurant is extremely helpful and pleasant.
Breakfast has a single coffee machine that is incredibly slow so be prepared to wait.
The hotel car park spaces are very small (I have a small car) and there are nowhere near enough.
Being able to get food until 11pm was very good.
I singled out Colin but all the staff were pleasant and helpful.

During my visit, I encountered the following issues:
1. Billing Issue with our Restaurant Meal On the menu you can clearly see that Mushroom Rice comes at a £4 charge, but we was sneakily charged £8. I had signed this off in good faith and trust that we werent being robbed.
2. Customer Service and Staff Interaction - When checking out we were asked to check the bills again from throughout our stay. This is when we flagged up the fact we had been charged £8 for mushroom rice. The reception staff went back to the restaurant team to query this as he didnt have a reason himself for the charge. 10 minutes passed and then a man who claimed to be the manager (but was later found out to be a lie which is a very serious misleading statement) came over to the desk to talk to us. He stated that the additional £4 charge was correct but when i asked him to show me where this is stated on the menu he couldnt show me. He then said that is why there is an asterisk next to the item, but when i showed him the reason for the asterisk was to show it was gluten free he still didnt concede he was in the wrong! After all this was explained and he couldnt offer a solid reason for the over charge, he had the cheek to say 'well you signed the receipt so thats that'. To say we was shocked would be an understatement! We trusted your team, for then to realise we had been robbed and your team basically said tough luck you signed off the robbery so thats OK?!
I sent this back to the management team on 2 more occasions to get my money back but i have been ignored both times!
Ignore this place like the plague, the customer service is shocking and they steal your money.

Well I came here with my granddaughter who had a spa day. I sat in the lounge and relaxed. The staff are wonderful, helpful and very friendly. I had coffee in the lounge and then lunch in the large and spacious restaurant. The food was very good and the range of offerings is impressive. It includes a full Indian set menu, can say I had a starter and a curry and it was lovely, my granddaughter had a Greek salad to start (this was enormous) and fish and chips all served well and the staff were very attentive but not in your face. All in all I would recommend this hotel, oh by the way the spa was great.

Amazing stay at this Crowne plaza. We booked a room before our trip and we found it to be in a good location to Heathrow. Only about 30mins drive.
The rooms were clean and fresh. The service was good and breakfast had options to choose from.
The kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Which is rare in the UK and the overall experience was pleasant.
The hotel has Halal options and there are plenty of halal places to eat nearby.

I was attending my mum’s 70th birthday and had experienced a panic attack before travelling. I asked about changing my booking because I was struggling with anxiety, but ultimately attended because I did not want to miss such an important family occasion.
Unfortunately, the stay itself added to the stress. The room was extremely hot and I requested a fan because I was experiencing sensory overload. I was told a fan would be brought to me, but it never arrived. Later, a member of staff apologised and confirmed that I should have received one.
My first impression of the hotel was also disappointing. When I arrived at reception, I witnessed a receptionist having a disagreement with a couple regarding their booking. From what I observed, they believed they had a valid booking and the interaction came across as rude and unprofessional. It did not create a welcoming atmosphere on arrival.
What I found most disappointing was the conflicting information afterwards. I was later told that I had declined a fan, which is simply not how I remember events. I was also left with the impression that my concerns would be looked into sympathetically, only to receive a very different response later.
I also duplicated one of my bookings by mistake which the guy said that he would deal with which it which never did and I never got a refund from.
Overall, I left feeling unheard, unsupported, and disappointed by the communication and handling of my concerns. For a hotel of this standard, I expected much better customer service, professionalism, and consistency from staff. Do not stay here if you struggle with mental health problems.
I can’t reply on the post- Thank you for your response.
I have now edited the review to clarify that the booking was under my boyfriend’s name, James. I have also sent several emails in an attempt to escalate my concerns but unfortunately have not yet received a response. Which isn’t very good.
I appreciate that hotels can be extremely busy. However, one of the reasons I felt disappointed was the way my concerns were handled at the time. Given the nature of the situation, I do feel that additional awareness and training around mental health and supporting vulnerable guests could be beneficial.
