  Very disappointing experience. We booked a one-night stay, but the room had a strong, musty smell / bleach that we couldn’t tolerate. The walls also appeared to have damp or humidity issues, with peeling paint and what looked like possible mould that had been painted over. We raised our concerns with the staff, but unfortunately they were not understanding or helpful. We were unable to stay the night and had to leave the hotel. We would not recommend this hotel.

  Great location. Truck stop walking distance from the hotel with 24 hour services like Starbucks and Burger King and outdoor laundry service. The rooms are clean and a decent size. We booked a family room and it had the queen bed with two singles, great for our family of two adults and two kids. They even provided us with a pack n play for the baby. No plugs except on the wall at the desk though, nothing near the beds. So we had a pile of our things all plugged in at the one spot. And the hair dryer was also in the main area at the desk too; no plug for it in the bathroom. Our bathroom was a nice size. It had a tub and it was a high big step into the tub; and no handles on the wall, and the tub was fairly slippery, this was a slight challenge. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows comfortable too. Wish there was a ceiling fan in the room; it was very warm and humid, but they did provide a small pedestal fan for use. The windows have no screens on them, thankfully they had child locks because with two little kids under three, they found that very fascinating and made me uncomfortable how they wanted to see out the windows. We were stationed on the second floor. With two littles under three and two strollers, this was a pain in the neck. No elevator. So we had to carry everything up and down everytime. But we made do. No proper sitting area within the hotel entrance, so when it poured rain there was nowhere to go but to your room. There were two picnic tables out front to sit at, as long as it didn’t rain. If they offered a sitting area inside for a small group or had an overhead covering for the tables, that would be great. I forgot to bring a couple of travel essentials and the signs posted in the bathrooms said to ask the front desk and they would provide them for a small fee. But when we asked the front desk staff they said no; they don’t offer those items and we have to find a shop. The shopping is about a 10 minute walk away. The front desk said to follow the pathway out the back of the hotel, but there is a big grass field before you get to the path; so expect your shoes to be soaking before you reach the path. And it’s incredibly holey so be careful you don’t step in a hole and twist an ankle. Big outlet shopping centre with fast food places and a Sainsbury’s within that 10 minute walk. All the big name stores like adidas, Cadbury; next; mountain warehouse, animal etc etc. Lots of food places to eat at and even a covered kids playground. There is a pub called Ty’Rishas also walking distance away, though the prices there are a bit outrageous. The food was good though and they even have a play area for little kids. We would stay here again. The location was great; we have lots of family in Sarn and Nantymoel. We travelled from Canada. And also had family drive in from Darby.

  Fly and wasp infestation bed had bed bugs not fresh bed sheets very rude staff bad service

  Great spot, beds very uncomfortable especially the single free standing bed. Needs a little TLC as paint coming off walls and hair dryer broken big overall you get what you pay for.
