Didn't stay here but had breakfast. Beautiful and especially good cake with kids as they have offers. Lovely staff and very helpful.
I have 2 essential needs when staying anywhere. 1) a comfy bed 2) a good shower. This accommodation met both. Helpful staff and a good location. Like many well used hotels it is looking tired, but it's clean and there was welcome tea and coffee in the room. The only disappointment was the Beefeater restaurant where breakfasts are provided. It wasn't clean - food under tables from the previous night - some bowls, mugs and cutlery were dirty - they had run out of items on the continental breakfast menu and the price shown in the restaurant for the unlimited breakfast was £10.99. I was charged £11.99 by the hotel. :( The restaurant was not up to the standard of those I I've experienced when staying at Premier Inn elsewhere on business and was a disappointment. So, I'd use the hotel again, but eat elsewhere.

Terrible hotel. Stayed in plenty of Premier Inns, all of which have been fine, but this one is not.
Booked for a double room and a twin room. Given 2 double rooms. Told there were no twin rooms left when I explained I’d booked a double and a twin. No apology.
Bath was full of hair in one of the rooms.
Tried to get a pint in the Beefeater pub next door. Told by man behind the bar that they stopped serving at 10pm. It was 10.02pm.
Cost me almost £300 to stay the night - well, to stay about 5 hours as we were up just after 3am to drive to Edinburgh Airport.
Avoid at all costs.

We stayed at this Premier Inn for two nights as a base for visiting Edinburgh—the first stop on our tour of the Highlands. The property is a bit dated, with a somewhat "vintage British" style; it could really use a refresh. On the plus side, it was clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable (as is typical of Premier Inns), and the breakfast at the adjacent Beefeater offered a great selection of food. On the bright side, the convenient Uphall station is nearby, offering a quick 20-minute trip into Edinburgh. It was super convenient and affordable, especially compared to the exorbitant prices in the city center.
