  An overnight stop-off for us and we enjoyed a Premier Plus room, the biggest Plus for me being able to open the window in our room, albeit only a restricted amount; I really dislike sleeping in a closed up bedroom. There was a Toby Carvery next door, handy as we didn't want to walk anywhere too far to find sn evening meal and if course, the standard Premier Inn breakfast lived up to expectations.

  Team are fantastic!! Attended a nearby wedding venue. Breakfast was extremely tasty. Asked housekeeping for na extra towel and nothing was too much trouble. Kieran helped get taxis swiftly there and back. If your in the area I would advise to book this hotel 5* service all round

  I work away from home a lot - mostly in premier inns- and honestly the warmth and positivity shown by the team here make such a difference. By far the best Premier inn breakfast - the yolks are actually perfect! The blonde woman on breakfast made my day. Only small criticism is the shower head had pink scum around it but nothing a deep clean wouldn’t fix.

  This review states facts only. No personal opinion, just personal experience. Doesn't have to apply to others. Booked a 4 bedroom room via Expedia. Check in with friendly staff. All around, staff were very friendly and tried to help where they can. But could only do so much. Ladies at breakfast were a joy. Got into a very hot and stuffy 3 bed room where they just put an extra small bed in. But room is not designed for that. Bin not emptied, 2 very dusty fans which we asked them to clean first before we can use them. Temp of 25 degrees in the room at night despite outside being 10 or so, 17 during daytime. Window could only be opened a bit. Didn't help. That wing of the building gets very hot, looks like management should invest in air con. Both Expedia and the hotel in communication about a partial refund, but both parties sort of blaming the other for either not replying or not having received any messages. Premier Inn say, they don't even offer a 4 bed bedroom, but Expedia has them listed on their website. Expedia only offer voucher for the trouble, so have to spend money with them again if we want to make use of it. We recommend a 15 min drive to Park&ride Ingliston. From there it is 30min ride on the tram into Edinburgh. Paid 13,50 GBP for family day ticket, unlimited travel on tram and Lothian buses. Conclusion: didn't expect much from Premier Inn, but this was below below expectations. Room issues only, not staff on site.
