  I stayed here last week for 2 days, and asked again to stay here today, really handy as i had a business meeting close by, staff really nice, food wasnt too bad either, room ok

  Beware of the new £5 parking charge. Puts the overall cost on par with the Holiday Inn around the corner which is a much nicer hotel. Will be booking there in future when I need to stay in the area for work.

  Very run down hotel with extremely tired rooms. The mattress on my bed was the worst I've ever [tried] to sleep on. It was so thin and you could feel the springs in it, they weren't far off coming out of the top of the mattress. I requested a room on a higher floor facing away from the road and was given a ground floor handicap room facing the road. The bed height was extremely low for handicapped which makes it completely unsuitable for anyone else. The handicap wheelchair friendly shower meant the whole en-suite flooded when using the shower. The room wasn't very clean with previous guests socks and room cards under the bed, mould in the en-suite, dirty surfaces and unvacuumed carpet particularly under the bed or behind the chair. The carpet was as about as thick as cardboard. The en-suite door was delaminated. I could hear everyone and everything in the corridor, the door offered zero sound insulation. This was particularly unsuitable for me as I was staying here ahead of an important professional qualification exam. I got hardly any sleep for my 2 nights and had a headache both days due to exhaustion. The car park was advertised as FOC but I was stung by a £5/night charge on checking in. Try any of the other local alternatives, non can be as bad as this place. The only good thing was I felt my car was safe in the car park which is plenty big enough and covered by cameras.

  Very close to M1 & a few minutes to centre of Wakefield. Very convenient and nice hotel

  I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional, and every member of staff made me feel welcome. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the facilities were excellent. A special thank you to Brooke, who was incredibly hospitable, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and her warm, professional attitude truly made a difference. It’s staff like Brooke who make a great hotel experience unforgettable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service and a relaxing stay. I look forward to returning!
