  Just left after a 2 night stay ,arrived fri and went down to the restaurent was informed there would be approx a 45 min wait as new chef so we decided to stay and wait and glad we did .Nat who was the service manager was not only training up Lester but also helping Tom the new chef ,together they worked exceptionally well ensuring all customers were happy so a big shout out to Nat ,Lester and Tom .

  Es ist so weit gut. Ich komme schon länger hierher und fahre täglich von Frome weil es weit und breit das einzige halbwegs ordentliche Hotel ist. Positiv sind die vielen Restaurants die in der Nähe sind und fussläufig erreichbar sind.

  Nice comfortable bed. A great night sleep after a 3 hour drive. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Especially the 2 ladies who checked me in. The were pleasant, professional and went over and above to offer help and advice.

  We visited with another family with small children, all very tired and a bit unruly. We had dinner in the restaurant on site which was an excellent decision - the restaurant was quiet and clean, but the service was the standout - Nat and Cara (and Annette and Callum) looked after us so attentively and patiently. We were very grateful to have a relaxed meal with our children. The desserts were particularly delicious and you can't beat the Premier Inn value. Later, when our air conditioning wasn't working effectively, Nat adjusted the settings and then personally brought a fan up to our room to help it cool down quicker. She was so friendly and never made me feel like I was a bother, even though I surely was. Really outstanding service.

  My family and I stayed here during last week’s heatwave. We usually choose Premier Inn because we’ve always found the beds to be very comfortable, and the breakfast is consistently good. Our first night was excellent, and we really enjoyed breakfast the following morning. Unfortunately, on our second night, the hotel experienced a complete power cut, which also meant there was no water. We completely understand that this was outside the hotel’s control. As a gesture of goodwill, the staff arranged a complimentary breakfast the next morning, which was much appreciated. That night, our room was uncomfortably warm due to the lack of air conditioning, but there wasn’t much anyone could do. By the following morning, the lights and cold water had been restored, but there was still no hot water or air conditioning. We spent the day out, hoping everything would be back to normal by the time we returned. Thankfully, the hot water had been restored, so we were able to freshen up. However, the air conditioning was still not working, and we were informed that it couldn’t be repaired. Given the ongoing heatwave, we decided to end our stay early, and the hotel kindly refunded our final night’s accommodation. None of this was the fault of the staff, who were friendly, professional and did everything they could to help throughout our stay. Overall, it wasn’t the experience we had hoped for, but we appreciate that unexpected situations such as power cuts can happen, and we thank the team for handling the circumstances as well as they could.
