Great location, excellent rooms and corridors were all in good order even if slightly tired and the staff welcoming and efficient. A good ambassador for the Premier Inn brand.

I’ll start with the good part. The bedrooms are exactly what I expect from Premier Inns, they are clean and comfortable, bathrooms are clean and there is a ready supply of tea/coffee.
However, the entrance to the hotel is dirty and scruffy, not enough bins for the smoking area so cigarette butts and fast food wrappers are scattered on the ground, and the sliding glass entry door is dirty.
I was particularly disappointed with the dining room. Four or five menu items were unavailable. My mother and I waited 45 minutes for our dinner to arrive (a salad for me, gammon and chips for her). My salad was missing contents that were listed on the menu - we were not charged for two glasses of wine as a result of me complaining. At breakfast on both mornings, some items were in short supply, the kitchen could not seem to cook enough eggs or mushrooms for the number of customers. Floor staff seemed to be seating customers, clearing tables and also checking out departing customers. At one point the chef/cook came out to clean up a spill. My guess is that the place is woefully understaffed, and existing staff are under-trained and run off their feet. They have my sympathy.

Stayed here last year in one of the first floor rooms and it was very good. Had a ground floor room this time and it was dark and smelly, and made me itch.
Service was virtually non existent. No one on reception, all done on a screen. The only humans were in the restaurant and very busy.
Location very good on the edge of the city next to the Petersfinger Park and Ride. Car park is free but shared with McDonald's so can be busy.

Good things first: the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking was easy and convenient.
The restaurant was woefully under supplied. Several items were missing from breakfast on both days we were there due to a lack of deliveries, meaning that we did not get what we paid for.
Connor and Adrian worked heroically to cope with these problems, in order to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We were offered a free drink (because our dinner was so late coming due to the volume of customers and understaffing) and a refund on the breakfast.
This is a failure of management. The hotel is understaffed and undersupplied. Both your customers and your employees deserve better.
