  The wedding was amazing, with excellent service and beautiful setups. The food, especially the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet, was fantastic and beautifully presented. A special thank you to the entire team for their hard work and excellent service. I particularly enjoyed the wedding breakfast—the roast beef was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Everything was well organised, beautifully presented, and made the occasion very special. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience!

  From the start of our stay we could see there was not enough staff to accommodate guests. Upon arrival we had to wait in reception for longer than I ever had to, my colleague had the same experience every single time she went to reception. In addition room key cards kept not working having to go back to reception every single time and wait ages for this to be sorted. When trying to order food form my room I could not get hold of anyone in the hotel (both reception and restaurant) for about 15/20 mins after trying with both the hotel telephone and my personal phone. This wasn’t me being lazy I was feeling ill and dizzy and could not get down the stairs but had to since no one picked up every single time I called. To add to this brilliant experience after being able to finally fall asleep someone called my room for a long time and when I answer it thinking it was something serious no one replied. In addition to this me and colleague were eating at the restaurant and the chair she was sat on the screw came loose causing her to fall on the floor. Two different rooms were also given when they should have been the same not to add that 5p and 10p were deducted of my bill for god knows what. Overall worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel (and I have been in quite a variety of holiday inns throughout the UK). Overall I would say more staff is defiantly needed for sure and managers to be on the floor more to deal with problems like this. It was an awful experience and I don’t plan to come back. I never complain but this was ridiculous (especially being that we had to stay the whole week). Just one positive thing about this stay was Lisa at checkout and the breakfast staff, thank you!

  I called in for breakfast and was looked after by Lisa and Critica. Very welcoming and hospitable enjoyed my meal and was looked after while I did some work while I was waiting for my car to be repaired

  Was recommended by Tesla service centre to pop in. It was lovely to rest / work while waiting for the car to be ready. Lovely receptionist and very good service. Make you feel warm and welcome all way through. All 5 stars!

  This is easily the best Holiday Inn/budget hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we walked in, the staff were brilliant, so welcoming and friendly. They even brought out chocolate and juice for our two toddlers on arrival, which was a really nice touch. They also took the time to explain the dining options and offered help with our bags. The hotel itself is spotless and has a real wow factor as soon as you step inside, clean, modern, and really nicely decorated. Our family room was fantastic too, with plenty of space and great sleeping options. Nice little extras like a fridge stocked with water, Pepsi, and chocolate, plus more chocolates on arrival, made it feel that bit more special. The coffee options in the room were great, and the bathroom was stocked with good quality products. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel and were really impressed, good quality food and generous portions. Overall, we’ll definitely be coming back. The staff have done an amazing job, and it’s all the little details that make this place stand out. Easily a 5* experience.
