  A very helpful location, right next to the water and The Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Lovely air conditioned, cozy rooms with a stunning walk in rainfall shower and excellent comfy beds in the premier plus rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that there are lots of stairs throughout the hotel and the lift from the street level to the reception was broken. Then when you get to the second floor, there are more stairs up and down. I have asthma and found it quite tiring.

  Perfect budget hotel, pub across the road, long stay car park less than 5 minute walk away.

  Had an overnight stay with family for a theatre trip. The hotel is wonderfully situated just a 5 min stroll from theatre, shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were really welcoming and accommodating.

  Over night stay that will remain in memory for all the WRONG reasons. First off we arrived at the hotel after paying to park over night. Up entering we took the lift due to having luggage with us. The lift took an age to arrive due to it being made for wheel chair users and not an actual enclosed lift. By the time it came I had aged 5yrs!. Upon entering the room we was greater with feathers and various bits on the carpet that hadn't been hoovered for a few days. Whilst the room was the standard features, I have to say the additional dirt was a added extra. The food was nice and the staff was OK as you would expect for a "premier" hotel. However the staircase was filled with dust webs that had been there for many years as you can see from the photos. Having been using premier inns as standard for many many years, I fear this one should be given a very wide berth considering the price. Shame really as a new manager with more of an attention to detail would be a huge difference.

  Really nice Premier Inn with great rooms, beds, staff, cleanliness, location and air conditioning. I'm coeliac and they are so helpful, knowledgeable and careful. They cooked my breakfast fresh to order so that I didn't have to take the risk of using the buffet. This is standard now. Well done Premier Inn and well done staff! The breakfast was also delicious.
