  The fabric headboards desperately need to be vacuumed. There were lots of little hairs in the bathroom. Shame, as normally this place is very good!

  Really disappointed. We were in room 704: ground floor, facing into the street. The room itself was great... Lovely big bathroom, nice clean room. And the other areas of the hotel were also really nice. But the downsides: Very uncomfortable bed - really hard. Pillows were hard and lumpy. But the biggest issue was: the room had in it a portable air conditioning unit which, to run, requires an open window. So we're trying to sleep in a room with a window that can't be closed, which faces DIRECTLY onto a busy street and pavement. We told reception the next morning that we both had terrible nights sleep, but rather than offer to compensate in some way, told us that we had asked for an accessibility room (we didn't) and just advised that NEXT TIME we stayed there, we should ask for a room in the central building away from the main road. We won't be staying again. Oh, and it cost us over 15 quid to use their on-site carpark for the night.

  Every single staff member we encountered was so helpful, kind and welcoming! That made our stay especially wonderful. The room was immaculate and very pretty, and the bed was quite large and comfortable. The hotel looks like a mixture of Tudor and modern with some great common areas that inspired us. The location is good for the theater, the birthplace, and other attractions. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  Now spurs the lated traveler apace, to gain the timely inn. The Indigo was a perfect place to rest our heads, from the charming Tudor front building to the modern and well appointed cozy rooms. Breakfast (a la carte plus buffet) was excellent, as was the service, and the location was perfect for a Shakespearean walkabout.
