- RLRed Lighthouse LocalJul 25, 20261.0Worst hotel we have ever stayed in , will never come back - turned the air conditioning on for 5 minutes as the room was stuffy and water was dripping from the unit we had to use the waste bin to catch the water dreadful - got to our room and someone else was in the room so we had to Ben over which caused stress after a 3 hour journey , the manager was very rude - we booked online and thought we had clicked on breakfast included to our horror we ended up paying £156 for 3 people for breakfasts on top of the £1,000 we paid for the room. - for the price of the room , leaking air con leaked water, no fridge no table awful camp bed just a generally awful experience. I’m sharing this review so it doesn’t happen to others I’m also expecting no compensation or even an explanation

Close to motorway connections, adjacent Tech campus and nearby retail outlets the hotel is ideally situated to access many large employers in the area. Given that this hotel is pitched as a budget range hotel it was a pleasure to discover the cleanliness of the rooms and public spaces. Food is of good quality for the price point and the atmosphere friendly. None of the above would be achievable without the dedication of the staff and I cannot commend them enough. They undertake a number of roles and display strong team spirit. I am sure the management team is aware of how good they are but I feel the need to point it out. Well done Holiday Inn.
