This Premier Inn was previously a collage building. Stayed here a few times over the years for theatre visits. The most recent visit saw us in room 206 which was one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in at a Premier Inn, and we have stayed at many all over the UK. The room looked like it had been refurbished recently. Its a easy walk into the city centre from this Premier Inn with good pedestrian crossings to cross the busy roads in this area.

The car park in front of the inn is tiny and full upon our arrival. I have park in the multistorey car park next to the inn. Although the price is cheap, it is car park scam as you only have 10 minutes from your car entering the car park to find a parking spot, look for a payment machine, read the signage then realize you have only 10 minutes from entering the car park to pay for the stay in order to avoid £100 fine, continue to look for the payment machines, find a small signage that payment machines are only available on 1st and ground floors and rush down the stairs to pay for it.

Stayed on a Saturday evening, felt sorry for the staff as there wasnt enough of them to run the hotel, restaurant and bar but they worked so hard! Rooms are clean, beds comfy and food was nice. Some wear and tear to rooms but nothing unexpected for a popular hotel. Nearby parking £3 for duration, would stay again.
