When I arrived at the dining area, there was no one present to greet or guide guests, and I was left waiting for a while, then staff walked past without acknowledging me. As it was my first time, it wasn’t clear where I should wait or how the process worked. A staff member named Norma then came over and quite abruptly directed me to wait in a different area before entering the dining space. The tone and manner of communication felt rude and unwelcoming, which made the experience uncomfortable. As it was the first day of service, some disorganisation may be understandable, but clearer instructions and a more polite, welcoming approach would have improved the experience.
