  Reasonable value, intense heat in corridors, lifts that don't work (a theme all over Coventry?), no immediate parking given the NCP administrative collapse, and air conditioning that has a mind of it's own and is inconsistent from one room to the next. Location is not the best as this was necessity rather than choice and the service was ok.

  A fantastic hotel, which is well located and the staff are always friendly, particularly Jack! My team and I always use this Premier Inn when we have business in either Birmingham or Coventry.

  The room I stayed in was clean and incredibly comfortable! I had a meal plan so didn't have to worry about feeding myself during my stay, and the staff were all incredibly approachable, informative, and kind. Absolutely nothing to complain about, had a lovely time!

  Just checked out of the Premier Inn Belgrade Plaza Coventry and I don’t think I’ve had such a mixed hotel experience in a long time. Mixed cos on one hand the room quality, the bedding, the air conditioning, overall cleanliness of the lifts, toilets, common passageways were all quite good, but on the other hand, the utter lack of human connect from their staff was baffling. Everybody, right from the check-in staff, to the lady who ushered us in for breakfast each morning, to the one who helped us with extra towels from the lobby looked thoroughly bored, disinterested and borderline grumpy in the way they spoke and interacted with us. All through the 4 nights we stayed there. Not one smile on their face Not one pleasantry exchanged Just cold faced, robotic, ‘why are you here bothering me’ kinda vibe. We were in Coventry to drop off our son to Uni and thanks to the lifeless, emotionless, empathy-less behaviour of the entire staff each time we interacted with them it brought our collective mood down.

  Stayed here last week for 6 nights. First night, we were woken at just gone midnight due to bed bugs in the bed. Went down to reception and showed photos of the bed bugs, were told that our room wasn’t down for bed bug treatment that day. We were moved to an assessable room immediately, but unfortunately not another premier plus room. My partner had to buy treatment cream from Superdrug as the bed bug bites caused a reaction and were very itchy, was offered a free breakfast next day for the discomfort but declined to use it. Next day we were moved to another premier plus room. Although after initial confusion whether there was room available. There seems to be communication issues. Secondly as we were staying 6 days we had to request a room clean. We only requested one and went to request the room clean before midday (10am) and also put the sign out saying the room needed refreshing and put the towels in the shower as per the notices. We left for the day, after returning at night we were greeted by the room being the same as when we left it and I had to go downstairs to request new towels. The night person on reception was great in comparison, but the overall service was lacking and certainly not worth the £500 I paid for the room, which one night we weren’t able to use and also the added time and discomfort from the lack of bed bug cleaning in this hotel. It has made me and my partner question booking a premier inn hotel again, as the ones in London have been fabulous in previous stays but won’t be returning to this one again.
