This was a very spacious hotel with free parking. It had a very good position for the forest, canals and any shopping. Large cinema and leisure facility just up the road. Lots to do.
We have stayed here 3 or 4 times now over a few years, with 2 young children.
Never had any issues , and all the staff have always been very friendly, helpful and courteous. Breakfast is great but can be very busy, but that is the same at most hotels at the usual 830 till 930 times.
Nice bar area which is also the breakfast area and dining area. Large screen tvs for sport.
Lots of electric chargers, that I think are 11kwh, so check before you arrive including a couple of high speed chargers.
Parking is good, with quite a good number of spaces. We've never had a problem parking
The hotel corridors are in the shape of a large square so some rooms do have a bit of a walk to get to them.
Room cleanliness is always good.
Ground floor and 1st floor with lifts.
Location is just outside the town centre (maybe 5 mins in car)in between car dealerships and a couple of manufacturing units but a petrol station and Starbucks 2 min walk and cinema and restaurants 3 min drive
Not noisy on the nights we have stayed.
No gym and no pool incase you are looking for that.
Small amount of outside seating at the front of the hotel.
Nice clean large room recently upgraded i think. The french chap on reception was excellent and very helpful.
Goood food too. And great value.

Staff are really friendly
Good hotel situated on the edge of Wigan and ideal for any football or rugby league fans wishing to stay over. It's a short walk to the stadium and due to it's location, a quiet nights sleep should be guaranteed.
The staff were friendly on check-in and there's plenty of seating in the bar area for people to relax in the evening. Lots of free parking too!
