Excellent park which we visit often as we live half hour away. It is very clean, pleasant staff who always smile. We've never once had a problem from burst of blue, standard to a lodge.
Sadly for us we have one issue and that's loyalty. Away Resorts never seem to reward frequent bookers with anything, be it upgrades, a discount on a meal, a free night or nothing. It makes you feel like you're not really respected loyalty wise. So, Away Resorts need to somehow address this as other parks we have used do reward loyalty and this is why some of our short breaks now are leaning towards different sites in North Wales. It's a shame as our favourite is Golden Sands but one feels as if it's a one way affair.
Thanks everyone at Golden Sands for your hard work.

Very large static site, right beside the beach, which is sandy and clean. Dogs are welcome in the accomodations and the beach, but make sure you clean up any left overs!
The accommodation we booked was a 3 bed unit, and price was reasonable for time of year.
Site has its own swimming pool for guests, and a fish and chip shop on site. Bar and restaurant are pleasant and offer a good range of food and drink, and on site entertainment is free to guests Security barrier is a nice touch too.
Downsides:
Car parking was away from the unit, and quite cramped at busy times.
WiFi is expensive! £25 for 5 days!
Plenty of drop kerbs for mobility, level access to bar etc, but not all the roads have pavements, and all have many speed humps, not great for pavement scooters, as we kept grounding on them!
Beach access is not disabled friendly, as all access points involve several steps to get over the sea wall, and no disabled ramps are available. The boat ramp was closed by a barrier which didn't leave room for pedestrians, never mind scooters!
The accommodation supplied linen, but no towels, so be sure to take some!
Kitchen equipnent is basic, but enouugh to make a meal, as long as you don't need too many pans.
Most vans are accessed on grass, which isn't so good when it rains!
Other than those few negatives, and I wouldn't recommend it for disabled people, it was comfortable, warm and clean.

We went here just for the weekend and it was quite pleasant, the park is clean and the staff in the bar were nice. Didn't bother with the chippy as I hadn't recently robbed a bank. Access to the beach is easy and the fair and market are close by.

Hard to find due to signing, can only see the sign if you was standing over the road. Caravan spotless, never seen a caravan so clean. The steps wasn't very dog friendly. Went to the beach but closed with a gate but walked to the next gate/steps and beach was fine. Didn't buy passes as didn't want to leave the dog. Also, not much on site. 2 bars, chippy, kids park (very good) and swimming pool. Chippy on site not great, (sloppy fish). Went out every day to rhyl beach...£1.50 for hour parking and plenty of shops. Found a great chippy and the harbour pub (hungry horse). Loved the 20 mph speed limit, easy to get out. Beginning of May so not much open. No Free WiFi, it would be £6 a day. Staff lovely at reception. Loved the fire. Oh never seen the inside of a kettle so clean. Excellent job on the cleanliness all round. Very quiet, (early May.) Was a good break over all. Can't park next to caravan but spaces for parking. Mattress's very good quality.
TV, basic channels.
A little disappointed to be honest, very basic inside caravan, our shower head is broken, there are no lamps for night lights and the WiFi is very fiddly, took me hours to realise there is a charge and even then struggled to log in and pay. No luxury but ok if just looking to stay near a nice beach for a day or two.
