One evening is fine.
Was there for the second leg to London the next morning. Reception was still running at 10pm. Quite busy considering it was a Wednesday night. No bathing soap. No shampoo. No slippers. No toiletry supply (have tissue roll though). Climate control worked for me, but there was a standing fan there. Hair dryer available but it wasn't heating up. Not even warm. Towers are available. It was stinky when I sat at the table for some work. The bed was alright. Bathroom was fine but there are definitely smell from the toilet bowl. Lived with all of that.
There were traffic noise from M1 that can be heard in the room from 6am. Didn't affect my sleep though. Checked out at 7:30am. The reception was helpful. Room attendant were friendly.
Can't do more than 12 hours but it worked for my purpose. £65 is not a steal, but it was safe and I have got parking for £5. The smelly room got to me really, then nothing else really killed the deal. Whatever.

Horrendous experience at this hotel. Never encountered Management and reception so rude.
Basic services never provided . Reception looks at you like you are an enemy.
The worse place we have been staying at.

Nightmare.
Health hazard for kids. I genuinely recommend not coming here with children under the age of 18.
women should also be warned , it does not look very safe.
Something bad is happening here in the last year , maybe it's Management change but it's very noticeable for the worth.
Weed smell all over the corridors and rooms .
Carpets from the 70's with heavy layers of mold
Reception service is non-existent , more towards intentionally doing nothing.
Dirty , furnishing is malfunctioning and breaking up.
Abseluthly no help from reception.
My recommendation : Stay away if you can

Planned a stay here for my tumour excision surgery and a week prior learned my surgery date was moved. Requested a free cancellation with the express purpose of rebooking at a later date, just to be denied without communication. Deplorable service and not a practice I would expect of a reliable hotel with their patrons in mind, stay elsewhere.

The location is fine if it’s one night, on and off the M1. If you need to get around the area, it’s awful and adds 30 minutes to any trip. Staff were appallingly rude. The refrigerator in my room didn’t work. I opened the door, the light came on, I assumed it would work. I bought some snacks and put them in. The next morning everything was spoiled. I went to the desk and was told that it’s a service the hotel no longer provides. THEN WHY IS there a REFRIGERATOR in the room⸮? There was mold growing in the window sill that didn’t open. There was no fan in the bathroom but a sign said I couldn’t leave the door open to the bathroom or the alarm would go off. The carpet was not clean. There were pieces of smelly food left rotting in the stairwell for days. It was not acceptable.
